Know before you book

  • You must call New England Trips at 617-515-3405 or email contact@newenglandtripsinc.com at least 72 hours prior to your trip date to discuss pickup options and confirm a pickup location. You will then be advised of your 15 minute pickup window
  • You must arrive to your pickup location prior to your designated pickup window as our bus can't wait
  • Hotel pickups are between 7:00 and 7:45 am and you should arrive back in Boston by 7:00 pm.

What you can expect

Visit multiple iconic attractions on this unfogettable day trip to “America's Hometown” Plymouth, MA. Join in on the celebration as Plymouth turns 400 years old. This trip includes not only Plymouth, but many other historical sites as we make the journey from Boston. We will make a stop in the “City of Presidents” Quincy, MA to see the birthplaces of two U. S. Presidents John Adams and his son John Quincy Adams and the mansion that they once called home.

There is also quintessential New England coastline to view through the beautiful town of Cohasset and make our way to the coastal town of Scituate. In Scituate, we will stop at the Scituate Lighthouse and hear the amazing storey of the “American Army of Two”. En route to Plymouth we will also travel through the coastal towns of Marshfield and Duxbury.

Upon arrival in Plymouth you will have time to view Plymouth Rock and enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants located on Plymouth Harbour. Then it will be time for your true Plymouth experience to begin. It will commence with a visit to the Mayflower II. You will actually board the replica of the 17th century ship that the English Puritans (Pilgrims) arrived to Plymouth aboard on in 1620. Then you will travel to the famous Plimoth Plantation living museum. What was life like in the early 1600's for the Pilgrims and American Indians, you will know after your visit to the legendary town of Plymouth. There is so much to see in this wonderful area of Massachusetts called the South Shore.

This is a full day trip that you are certain to enjoy and never forget! There are other surprises on this trip that will have you in awe! All this and you'll still be back in Boston for a late dinner. This trip is a must for any visitor to the City of Boston.
