Royal Biz Taipei has been my favorite hotel for the past 10 years. The venue provides wonderful breakfast buffet (with a small fee at booking). The room is spacious, and the services have been superb. I will book this hotel again when I visit Taipei.

I appreciated staying at this hotel, its no longer then 10 min walk to the MRT (train) and its so easy to go arond with those. The hotel ut self was fine, not too much noise from outsode and breakfasts was acveptablr.

Extremely helpful and nice staff. Great location near metro station and in walking distance to the Memorial Hall. A bit outdated, but very clean.

Dated, needs renovation

I’ve stayed at the Royal Biz many times for over 10 years. It has been comfortable, reasonably priced with a good selection of breakfast items. However the hotel is getting dated and breakfast items are very limited. Perhaps this is caused by a change of ownership. Having said that their service is good and friendly but I would probably pick another hotel in the future.

The hotel is a bit away from the MRT & the neighborhood is quite dead after 8 pm. The washroom are outdated. The shower area is really small & it keeps leaking water around the door area. The fridge is old & it doesn't work either.

We had a complaint about the shower drain overflowing to the bathroom floor. They attended to it in a timely manner. They have a strange lighting system in our room that we had to ask about the next morning. We didn’t sleep well on the first night as a consequence

The hotel is a bit older but rooms are spacious and comfortable. During our stay, the only elevator was out of service for maintenance, which changed our plans quite a bit - this should be shown during booking already and not only last minute. Breakfast was a big disappointment. Barely any choices for vegetarians, and dishes were overcooked. We decided to skip breakfast in the end. The area might not look great at first, but there are some restaurants and a market nearby, so it turned out to be a good location. Next MRT station is about 5-10 minutes walk away.
