The property need alot of updating, outside doors were in poor shape. Our room was fine, curtains could have been fixed so that you could have more privacy, had to use the clothes hangers with clips to keep the curtains shut. They needed a TV guide in room, and bed spreads had cigarette holes in them.

Our first night- they didn’t have our reserved room available. We were moved to a room we reserved only because I pushed for it. This place has a lot of issues. Plumbing issues, not well kept, not clean. We stayed for 6 nights- housekeeping never changed the sheets just remade the bed. The bed was super sunken in at the middle so u can’t help but roll into the pit. We ended up sleeping sideways because somehow that was more comfortable. Found a roach in the room even though we did not have any food in the room. Overall, the location was convenient for the river walk but the hotel itself was absolutely terrible.

I had no towels the property had women and men working the corner downstairs. The tv didn’t work . The bed was not made as of the sheets are not change. I didn’t even stay the front desk would not refund me but I had to leave it was that bad. They shouldn’t even be on Expedia

You have to keep on mind this is a 2 star motel. Was clean...service was great. Maid service every day. Staff was very pleasant. I would stay there again.

Nice place to sleep for a couple of nights. Quiet and clean and comfortable. Good location; about 9 minutes from Riverwalk; about 7 minutes from "downtown". Nice to have parking on site. Breakfast was not memorable.

Overpriced for what it is

Check-in took a while due to some informal training - not ideal after a 10 hour trip/flight. Rooms okay - was a non smoking room, but the gap under the room door allowed in lots of smoke from the people who smoked right outside their rooms

Our annual trip to San Antonio has to have a stay near the Riverwalk and Inn at The Alamo offers just that. Rooms are a bit dated but clean as is the entire property. Simple continental breakfast and free parking 4 blocks from the Riverwalk and Alamo. All in aal, will be back.

This property is in walking distance of most major tourist attractions. In addition, the staff was very responsive to our needs. However, the property is in very poor condition. We had several issues during our stay: the handle falling off the shower on our first morning we went to use it (and was fixed with an oversized-3.5"-deck screw), had to ask for towels/washcloths most of our stay, room was not cleaned one day, lots of noise/activity around 3:00am most every morning, super thin walls between rooms (could clearly hear conversations in room next to us), etc. Loved San Antonio but our next trip will not be at this hotel.

Hotel nightmare

Completely discusting conditions of the rooms. Spider webs all over, pre used toilet paper, and a clear gap between the a/c and the wall allowing who knows what to get in. Got to the room and checked out immediately.

Comfortable room We like being able to just walk out the door and being outside. Nice free breakfast of waffles, fruit, fruit juice, cereal, toast, and coffee. Easy walk to the Alamo and Riverwalk. We felt safe walking to and from the Riverwalk even after dark.

The rented two rooms and they both stunk. Beds were uncomfortable bedding had holes in the comforters. This was a very cheap hotel! Very disappointed with the amount I paid. We were close to the river walk and downtown, which was good.
