"Shuttle bus from Kyoto station v convenient. Excellent check in/ out service, room had comfortable beds. Good amenities, 14th fl revolving restaurant for breakfast was wonderful. Only issue was the time spent in catching elevator to 14th fl, only one available and took much longer than expected. A bit of an inconvenience to reach 14th fl restaurant, esp if you are on a tight schedule. Otherwise, service was excellent. Would stay here again on next Kyoto visit."

"The hotel has a great location, right next to the shopping street(s). It is a short maybe five minute walk from the street where the taxi will let you off. The room was larger than expected and accommodated two people just fine. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel "

"Clean, minimalist, modern hotel conveniently located only 2.5 blocks from Kyoto Station. Easily walkable to trains, bus stops, restaurants, 24-hour convenience stores, and amazing Japanese shopping malls with mouth-watering restaurnt floors and food halls. Most of the hotel staff speaks limited English but are happy to bust out their phones to translate. Room was a bit cramped but not a problem as we spent the entire day out. We booked the 4-person room which had 4 full size beds but no sofa. Beds were very firm (common in Asia). Hotel provides pajamas for the guests to wear to bed! Optional hotel breakfast is only so-so, there are far tastier things to eat in the train station! "
