This property had a fire on October 2nd but was still available to book through Hotels.com on November 3rd; when we arrived to check in on November 23rd, we discovered that this property was closed due to fire damage. This left us in the lurch and scrambling to find another place to stay that night.
The property closed due to a fire and no one contacted those with a reservation to let them know. I was forced to find a new hotel at the last minute. Thankfully the Super 8 was able to accommodate me and gave me the price that I reserved my room for at Days Inn. Very disappointed in Days Inn for their lack of consideration for their customers.
When I pulled into the parking lot of the hotel that I made a reservation at through Expedia, the hotel had been shut down, complete with boards on the windows and caution tape. Thank goodness I was able to find a last min. room, even thought it was double what I would have originally paid. My question to Expedia is, why if the hotel was obviously shut down was I able to make a reservation? I was not happy with this experience and will probably not book a reservation through a secondary company again!

The property is old. There was a big hole in our bathroom door. The carpet looked dirty and stained. The air conditioning shut off automatically even with the fan on. There was no way to determine the temperature or make it turn back on until morning when it was hot in the room. Breakfast was OK. I would not stay there again.
On arrival at the Hotel it was a little late around 9pm, we noticed that the pool was being used, on check in we asked the opening hours & was told it was open 10AM to 10PM so decided to wait until the next day after our long flights & drive to get there. Next day we went to reception to ask for pool towels, to be told the pool was now closed for the season, we looked at the pool it now had a cover anchored down over it, it was 92 degrees C outside, barmy or what & not what we were informed the night before, we had specifically booked a hotel with a pool as well!! a great pity as otherwise the hotel was fine, just very disappointed & let down by this farce, Bonkers!

The property was a little dated but everything worked and the staff was very pleasant. The wi-fi was good and there was workspace in the room. A very practical place to stay.
Hotel was very dirty carpets nasty air conditioning broke rooms smelled horrible paint chipping from walls and doors staircase rusted out hotel refused refund
Clean, comfortable room. Free continental breakfast but many restaurants close by for those who need more selection to meet dietary restrictions. Pool was already closed though temp was still in 90s. Good value for money overall.
