Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean but could do with some renovating. Walls were very thin so it got noisy at times from people in the halls and neighbouring rooms. The location was excellent, within a 15 minute walk to all the major attractions and next to a tram stop.

Great location.

It was a nice hotel. Great location. Was about to walk to a lot of places. Easily accessible to trams. I wouldve preffered the breakfast hosted on the top floor with a view rather than in -1. Also they could have provided more turkish authentic breakfast options.

The area is close to main attractions. Gloria jeans manager was welcoming. The guide supplied by the hotel, Murat, was fabulous. He was extremely knowledgeable and very kind as he stayed with us until the queues had lessened after 6 o’clock so that we could visit the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque even though we started at 10 am.

Hotel on a tram way so be prepared of the rumble passed frequently in the day. You can’t park nor can you get picked up outside. The hotel was clean and met our needs. In US or UK it would be a 2 perhaps 3 star. Breakfast buffet was well presented with loads of choice.

The room was small, definitely NOT soundproof and the hotel receptionists were bad. They didn’t understand us and couldn’t be understood either. Some facilities were very difficult access, despite it stating they offer these amenities for example the ironing services - we had to wait four days till we were able to iron our clothes. Receptionists would often cut the phone when they couldn’t understand what we were trying to say. Some were impatient and quite rude, not friendly at all. Avoid this hotel. Definitely more of a 3 star hotel. The location was great but taxis cannot enter the road due to the tramlines sooo bare this in mind. ALSO the AC was incredibly noisy.

The Orient Express is in a very transit street, had a bit noice up to midnight. The staff was excellent, they would attend to your request and needs immediately. The bathrooms are not big at all, and they lack space to put anything on. Overall I was happy to stay here for a few nights but if longer I would probably look elsewhere.

Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr guten Lage. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Oben im Restaurant kann man gut essen und der Service ist hervorragend. Die Zimmer sind etwas älter aber okay für ein paar Tage. Das Frühstück war leider gar nicht gut. Wir sind woanders hin zum frühstücken. Im Großen und Ganzen ist das Hotel in Ordnung.

All the staff was amazing to us. Always willing to help until the end. Last minute big taxi to the airport for all our luggage. The roof top great food and wonderful. The pool, the sauna. Situation géographique parfaite.

Our stay got off to a bad start. We booked a family suite 3months before arrival, for me my wife and 2 young daughters. When we arrived we were told there was no family suite so could have 2 separate rooms next door to each other. It wasn't ideal but we had no choice but to accept. I didn't get a clear answer as to whether there were no family suites or there were some but they had been double booked. After that our stay was fine. Breakfast is good, staff were friendly and the hotel was nice and clean and comfortable. Our kids especially enjoyed the small pool in the basement after hot days walking around the city sites.

I spent one week in this hotel with my sister. The location of the hotel is perfect, metro and tram stations are within walking distance. Most of the attractions are also well accessible. Very good service: Kemal and Sinan were very friendly and gave us valuable tips😊

Die Unterkunft liegt zentral in der Altstadt von Istanbul (Sultanhamet). Nur zu Fuß erreichbar. Straßenbahn vor der Tür. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar. Sehr aufmerksames Personal.

Je mets une bonne note Generale, car nous avons eu la chance de tomber sur un bon réceptionniste,qui nous a écouté et aidé. mais le reste de l’équipe était désagréable. J’ai réservé et payé une chambre triple mais le réceptionniste d’arrivée nous a mis dans une double et nous a dit que les chambres étaient toutes de la même taille :mensonge. Tu étions serré avec un lit de campement et non un salon comme prévu! Je remercie encore le gentil réceptionniste du jour 2.
