Excellent as a base for exploring London
We stayed for 2 nights - the hotel is great as a base for going into London as it is close to 3 Tube stations. It is a little dated - but was clean with a good breakfast and helpful staff. In all - good value for money

All as expected - clean comfortable well equipped room. As noted in other reviews, noise could be heard from adjoining rooms through the night. Also strong smell of indian cuisine is in the ground floor communal areas but not in the sleeping areas, so not an issue. On the whole, very good value for money

The hotel is past its sell-by date and I was told by a member of staff it wis soon to close down. A pity, because it's in a good location - little traffic or other noise, yet only a few minutes' walk from the centre of town - and the room itself was fine, if dated. Connecting to the hotal's wi-fi set off every alarm going on my laptop's anti-virus, so I didn't make use of it, and the bathroom sink took ages to drain. But the bed was one of the comfiest I can recall in any hotel I've ever slept in. I didn't make any use of the bar or dining facilities so can't comment on them.

Very old hotel, my room smelt of cigarratte. Apparently previous occupier must have smoked in the room. I guess they have no smoke detectors.my room Was so cold on arrival! No one bothered to heat up the room before I got in. Breakfast was good though. The hotel has got no lift. Not very easy moving suitcases at all. But the guys at reception were helpful. They helped with my moving my box on arrival and departure.

Tatty, out of date and tired hotel
Staff were good but that is as good as it gets. Tatty, rickety and dirty hallways. Room bathroom has so many cracked tiles I lost count. Room was like a sauna and aircon did nothing except make loud noises. Breakfast a greasy bland affair. I would not recommend this hotel.

Nice Hotel, Close to The University
First of all, be aware that US travelers should always subtract one star for European hotels... for example this "three star" hotel would almost certainly only rate two in the states. This is not the "cookie cutter" type of Comfort Inn you'd find in America, but rather a more traditional every room is different sort. I booked this hotel for six nights recently primarily for it's proximity to the University of Westminster at Harrow campus. My daughter is studying there this term. It's worn, and very tired looking but everything is clean and pretty much serviceable. I'd recommend you not allow them to put you in a room in the annex, tiny rooms and no WiFi. Make sure they put you in the main building. (Which is what I did after the first night) There are no lifts, so if you've got trouble with stairs, call ahead for a ground floor room. There's a bar with a nice choice of beer and wine, open daily, but I was never quite sure of it's operating hours. The onsite restaurant offers an English Breakfast buffet daily for an extra charge. (£7.95/day) Other times vary as there are often functions there. WiFi is an extra charge (£5/day) but it was generally reliable once I was in the main building. It's walking distance (10-15 minutes) to the Northwick Park train station. Wembly stadium is two stops away and central London is about 30 minutes. There's a free car park if you're driving but it's small. The staff were attentive and helpful.

Comfort Harrow - Cheap & perfect for London Centre
The Comfort Harrow is a little tired, but perfect for a cheap stay for Central London. Close to the Metropolitan line which is the fastest run into Baker St. Staff are brilliant. Rooms are always warm & clean. 7th stay for us. If you are after a comfortable few nights cheap stay it will be hard to beat, free car park , tube near by works for us !

If your staying more than 1 night and want to spend a lot of time at the hotel this isn't the one for you. Very old room, rusty taps, smelly bathrooms, no heating control

A great stay....
I chose this hotel for our stay because we knew it was quiet, comfortable, clean and above all friendly. We did go out to eat, so I can't rate the food but in everything else we are very happy with the service and will definitely be coming here again.

Nice hotel
Although other reviews about this hotel don't give it a very good name, I thought it was fairly good for the price. The staff were helpful, the room was in a good state of repair and the breakfast was as good as more expensive hotels. I'll be there again if I'm in the area.

Police incident during my stay. Although this is not the fault of the hotel the way in which this was managed was hazy and unacceptable in a hotel that clearly needs investment into not only staff training but also fittings, decor etc.

Very accommodating
Staff were very helpful and accommodating to put needs and other customers who were about even though they were busy! Room was clean and had everything we needed, floorboards were very squeaky but we overlooked this as everything else was fine!

Lovely hotel
Stayed at the hotel as it is near the underground for London and St. Marks Hospital. Room was large and clean, nice bathroom and quiet at night as it is away from the main road. Breakfast was good value and really nice. Food was lovely and hot, help yourself buffet. We would deffinitely stay there again.

Although a Budget Hotel, this is a very 'tired' hotel. Room quite shabby, cockroach shot across floor at one point, could not find it though. Entry pass did not work three times, having to return for reprogramming at Reception, eventually Bar Manager explained you had to 'waggle' it until it worked!! Good points are that it has good, safe car parking, and is within easy walking distance of tube and facilities in Harrow. Cheap, but would notstay again.

Friendly prompt staff.
Staff are friendly. Rooms are clean, but the hotel is old built and bathroom fittings are very old. It is a little noisy even after 2300. Good location with Harrow city centre close by.

I would never recoment this hotel
The staff was exelent, very freindly but the hotel was derity, the only good thing was the location, 10 minutes from the train station "harrow on the hill"

Tired in need of sprucing up.
Hotel used for a single night stay, decor is tired and the bathroom would benefit from overhaul, little to no water pressure from either taps or shower, a notice on the toilet perhaps indicative warning that the cistern refill takes over 2 minutes. Even worse was that the bathroom stank of stale cigarette smoke.

Over all our stay was great, but the hotel definitely could do with a slight make over and the bathrooms are in need of thorough cleans. Unfortunately there was mould in our bathroom, which is slightly off putting and makes you feel unclean when showering and using the facilities.

It's an oddly laid out place, with lots of corridors, stairs and doors (obviously, multiple houses joined together, with odd ramps/steps). The communal areas looked nice but when we headed to our room, it was evident that it is in dire need of renovating - carpets don't match, the walls and woodwork are faded and patchy and our room was FREEZING! the bathroom was warm, the halls were warm but the room was so cold! Did not sleep properly - took ages to get warm. We thought we might try the restaurant but were told, quite brusquely, that it was closed - zip customer service. Hubby took a shower but the shower head was so clogged that hardly any water came out. But it was immaculately clean and convenient and a good price.

Room was clean and tidy. Pretty basic but didnt pay a great deal for it so cant complain too much. Biggest problem was noisy guests and thin walls but to their credit the staff were very good with dealing with it. Will pobably pay more to stay in a better hotel next time but this is fine if you want something cheaper.

Good budget hotel
This hotel was fine for a couple of days stop over while attending an event in nearby Wembley. It is a budget hotel so don't expect the most comfy beds or soundproof rooms. I was a bit concerned when we arrived because there was a wedding reception going on but our room was in an annex building away from any party noise. Apart from a few disturbances of doors banging and voices from a neighboring room early in the morning it was a peaceful couple of days. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The suburban location was fine and was just 10 minutes walk to the shopping/restaurant area of Harrow-on-the-Hill.
