Overall, it was probably more disappointing than terrible, but the cumulative effect of everything pushed it into the terrible category.
Firstly, the room smelled like urine and was very musty and stale.
Secondly, the food was awful! My wife ordered Tom Yum soup with prawns, which immediately made her sick with explosive diarrhea. I had the Cheeseburger with French Fries -- the fries were excellent, actually. The burger seemed to be made with old, borderline bad meat; although I thought I would definitely get a case of diarrhea, I didn't, just a very slight stomach ache.
Thirdly, the bed is as hard as rocks -- terrible, terrible bed.
Fourthly, the staff at the front desk neglected to give us our 5:00 a.m. wake-up call, although we had set a backup alarm and we woke up with plenty of time.
The hotel has definitely seen better days and is in need of refurbishment and updating. For the price, not worth it!
