A lovely hotel set in a quiet area of Venice, but only 30 minutes walk to San Marco. There are plenty of small local restaurants within 5 minutes of the hotel with seafood being the local speciality. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful in giving us some suggestions of where to eat, making bookings, and the best ways to travel round the city. It had a great small bar, also with excellent service. The breakfast was good with a wide choice. If you want a great hotel away from the crowds in the main tourist areas but close enough to walk to them easily, then I thoroughly recommend the Hotel ai Mori d'Oriente.

My friends and I stayed here for 4 nights. Check in was very efficient All staff were so helpful and friendly.Our rooms were better than expected,we were given adjoining rooms and our request for a ground floor room was honoured. Breakfast was generous with lots of choice We even surprised the kitchen staff with a rendition of happy birthday.We were given recommendations for restaurants, and used the hotels' free boat ride to Murano Island I would recommend this hotel as within walking distance of main attractions, near a water bus stop and in a quiet safe area.

Absolutely the perfect place to spend a romantic vacation in Venice. We also visited the Sister hotel and had drinks on the rooftop. The staff at this hotel were amazing. We can’t wait to go back.

This will sound weirdly nit-picking, but the nozzle on the hand-shower was covered in black gunk -- mold? Too gross to use until I cleaned it with wipes and elbow grease. I didn't clean the hose, although it too had the same black gunk. I think it was mold because there is no ventilation in the bathroom, so that towels and mirrors didn't dry. We wedged a piece of luggage in the door to keep it propped open.

We loved this place! The only thing that wasn’t up to par was the restaurant recommendation we received from the reception folks. We searched our own restaurant on night 1 and really enjoyed the food. We visited the restaurant recommended by the hotel near the Rialto Bridge on night 2 and were very disappointed with the dishes and our server was a nightmare. Otherwise, the room we had was perfect and facing the canal. All corridors in the facility were air conditioned as were all spaces in the room itself. A bit out of the way but quiet too.

The property is very nice, the beds are comfortable, and an amazing shower. It was relaxing after a long day of walking Venice. The staff are helpful in arranging tours, porters, taxis, reservations, or anything else you need.

Great spot right off the orange water line and easy to get to with wheeled luggage. We got a family suite which was fine for two nights. King size bed in one room and other room had a pullout for two young adults. No door between the two spaces but small changing space off the king room with plenty of room for our luggage.

Nice hotel in a quiet area of town. One canal over there are great dining options. The hotel was clean and the breakfast buffet had decent food selections.. the hotel staff was very helpful and offered great excursion options along with dining options arhat weren’t touristy. To walk to the main attractions of Venice will take approximately 20-25 minutes. The only piece that was disappointing was prior to our stay we inquired about options to arrive at the hotel direct from the airport was only offered the private car and water taxi option at a hefty fee of €230. Upon departure the staff at the front desk arranged a water taxi that took us directly to the airport for €140. It would have been nice to have been given both options when we asked. Apart from that costly hiccup, we had a wonderful stay at the hotel.

I came with a little dog to attend the premier. It was very nice that there were dog bed with a blanket and dog bowl placed in the room when we checked in. The front desk staff are very friendly and the bar is very comfortable with an outdoor table. The only thing is not so good is quite far away from St. Macro where I needed to go to attend the premier and met my friends.

Highly recommended- great value for money
Great hotel, amazing location for walkers. quite area with good restaurants and bars nearby. SUPER recommended the free Murano trip by boat to see the glass factory! The staff was extremely nice, helpful and patient (with tips, explanations, restaurant reservations and more) The room was good, traditional, spacious for a couple, the shower was nice and clean- water pressure was a bit low but not too low. (if you have mosquitos in your room- contact front desk for a quick and good solution)
