Nice place without the in town price and noise

Stayed outside of town and enjoyed being “in the Black Forrest” rather than just in the tourist trap town. That part we went to visit. The owner was helpful and spoke English well.

Non è assolutamente ciò che ci aspettavamo

Difficile da trovare l’ubicazione dell’albergo anche perché il nome sulla facciata è diverso da quello presente sul sito Expedia. Non è assolutamente ciò che ci aspettavamo all’atto della prenotazione. Ridicola la sala attrezzi, sauna.. a pagamento. Struttura da rimodernare completamente. Unica nota positiva la persona addetta alla colazione, molto cordiale e gentile. Per il resto a evitare

I was very pleased with our stay. Even though it is a 2 star hotel it was clean and welcoming. The room was clean and provided a tv and small fridge as well as the usual bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and table and chairs. It came with an ensuite. The hotel was traditional with lots of wood. The breakfast was continental and provided a good selection of food. The hotel was located 5 mins outside of Triberg. The views were breathtaking and beautiful of the woods.

Good stay

My family arrived at the hotel in the late evening during a 2 week road trip through Europe. It was a little hard to find the hotel because there was very little signage, but we found it and there was easy parking nearby. There was no reception desk, but a restaurant on the ground floor where we were given our keys. The room was very nice with some cute Black Forest details. The bathroom was small with only a shower but everything was very clean and tidy. The biggest problem we encountered was that there was a house or school which was playing loud music all hours of the night. This was a Saturday night. When I finally fell asleep at 1:30am the music was still playing loudly and having the window closed was not helpful. This is in no way the fault of the owner or management but it was not very restful because of the noise. In the morning we had breakfast and conversed with the owner who was very nice. Checkout was easy but I was upset because although the hotel was listed as having free breakfast on hotels.com, the owner said breakfast was not included & I was charged for it. Thankfully I was compensated by hotels.com’s excellent customer service so it was not a problem!

Quaite basic in a short drive out of Triberg

Lovely basic inn about 10 minute drive out of Triberg so you do need a car . Quant rooms and the owner is adorable. Very very friendly and makes you overlook that it isn’t a 4 star hotel . Breakfast was a bit more basic than some we have had here in Germany and there was an issue with the hot water not working while we were there but hey it was all part of the adventure. Would definitely recommend as long as you aren’t looking for fancy, we prefer clean and friendly which this definitely is.

Un'esperienza diversa dal solito

Titolare surreale. Arriviamo e troviamo chiuso. Dopo qualche minuto troviamo un campanello. Ci apre una signora e ci chiede di vedere la prenotazione sullo smartphone. Vuole vedere a che prezzo l'abbia mo ottenuta. Solo allora ci accompagna in camera e l'allestisce in quel momento. Il ristorante non funziona. Siamo gli unici clienti presenti nella struttura. La colazione è buona. L addetto è molto cortese. Cappuccino da evitare.

Great small hotel option

Smaller/more intimate hotel on the outskirts of Triberg, but just a few minutes drive to the downtown area. The owner was extremely friendly and the hotel itself was was comfortable/clean. No AC fyi, but not a big deal in the Black Forest. WiFi was very solid and so was breakfast. Recommended!

War vielleicht mal schoen...

Der check in bestand aus einer Tel Nr an der Haustuer... Keiner da! Ein Nachbar brachte uns nach Telefonat den Schluessel und wies uns ein Zimmer zu... Info (wie zb WLAN passwort hatte er aber nicht).... Wir sind um 16.00 Uhr angekommen und waren alleine im Hotel bis die Chefin kam - um 22.00 Uhr... Dann endlich gabs das Passwort und Fruehstueckszeiten, etc.... Das Gasthaus (Restaurant) ist geschlossen ... Das Restaurant im Haus ist fuer uns Buchungsrelevant und wir haetten kein Hotel ohne gebucht .... Der Fitnessraum wird jetzt als Buegelzimmer genutzt und nicht mehr fuer Gaeste nutzbar...

Hier war es nicht möglich, mir sofort eine Rechnung zu stellen, da der Drucker nicht funktionierte. Mir wurde zugesichert, dass diese am Tag drauf per Mail versendet wird, habe bis heute (14.06) noch keine per Mail bekommen, aber am selben Abend noch bezahlen müssen. Jetzt renn ich der Rechnung hinterher. Geht nicht

There was water damage to building after severe weather hence resturant was closed but host was kind enough to serve us breakfast in our rooms. Recommend to all who want to stay in typical black forest feel hotel

Very clean and staff were wonderful and very attentive. Somewhat of the main road but an awesome place to stay within 10 minutes of Triberg. Would definitely stay there again!

Badminton service and poor breakfast

The hotels made lot of confusion on payment. They asked more money than what was agreed by hotels.com. service was pathetic and the breakfast was pathetic. There wasn't any room to have breakfast

Truly a wonderful find!

We loved this Hotel/Resort almost as much as we enjoyed the owner. She is a wonderfully energetic and blissfully happy lady who loves what she is doing!

Traditional Hotel - No evening meal

Traditional and pleasant hotel. During my stay an evening meal was not offered. Due to this we had to travel back to Triberg in a rain storm and find a place to eat. Breakfast was very good.

Gli unici ospiti della struttura... personale simpatico (una coppia ... ) ma abbastanza disorganizzato. Hanno acceso il riscaldamento al nostro arrivo nel pomeriggio...Abbiamo cenato ma il menu l'hanno scelto loro nonostante mi avessero garantito il contrario!!!! Non ci hanno fatto pagare uma porzione intonsa ma il caffè era fuori menù. Colazione palesemente con pane e brioche riscaldate e secche....

Das Rössle - ein gepflegtes Hotel. Schöner Altbau. Sehr familiär geführtes Hotel mit herzlichem Empfang und liebevoller Betreuung. Kinder- und hundefreundlich! Sehr gutes Essen! Sehr empfehlenswert!

schlichtes Hotel für Kurzaufenthalt

Die Eigentümerin, eine Thailänderin, ist sehr freundlich und bemüht, die Gäste gut zu betreuen. Das Zimmer schlicht, aber für einen Kurzaufenthalt genügt es. Das Hotel liegt etwas abgelegen von Triberg, ohne Auto nicht empfehlenswert. Alles sehr sauber, Frühstück O.K. Der Empfang war ziemlich komisch, zuerst hat uns ein Herr bedient, der nicht genau wusste, wer wir sind (trotz Reservation) und es hat ewig gedauert, bis er sich für ein Zimmer entschieden hat. Beim Frühstück lag er wie eine Diva auf der Sitzofenbank im Esssaal und hat von dort aus mit den Gästen geredet. Auf uns wirkte dies störend, denn am Morgen möchte man noch seine Ruhe haben. Ansonsten war es ganz passabel.

albergo con buon potenziale ma gestito malissimo.

Avevamo prenotato 3 camere e al nostro arrivo 2 le avevano date ad altri ospiti e ci propongono un appartamento che è il loro! Gli armadi sono pieni della roba della signora, la luce non funziona e per di più vorrebbero anche il supplemento per la colazione (che ovviamente non hanno avuto). Esperienza negativa, peccato

Die Unterkunft war schwer zu finden. Dann bot man ein Zimmer an, dass wohl privat genutzt wurde. Der Schrank war voll Kleidung und es stand Massageliege und Bürostuhl drin. Wir haben das Zimmer nicht bezogen und sind abgereist. Nicht zu empfehlen.
