We stayed at this property at the end of our trip. Compared to the other hotels we’ve stayed at this was our least favorite. We said it was nice but we wouldn’t stay again. But, you get what you paid for the price point. However, we expected a little bit more service and hospitality wise. Check in and out was easy. During our stay we barely interacted with the staff. It’s about a 20 minute walk from Shinjuku station and 10 min walk to Oedo line. Good hotel for a couple of days, nothing special.

Overall: 10/10 Cleanliness - 10/10 Safety - 10/10 (It's Japan anyway. Doesn't matter) Water pressure - 10/10 Room size - quite generous for Japan Room facilities - 10/10 Convenience to reach - 10/10 Location - 10/10 (Close to all shopping areas in Shinjuku and Shibuya) Breakfast - 10/10. So many vegetarian options to pick from. The food was delicious. Subway station nearby - Yes Restaurants nearby - 10/10 I highly recommend this to anyone.

This hotel was situated at Shinjuku, but requires around 21 mins of walking from Shinjuku station. There are two other metro station nearby (Tochomae, 10mins walk and Nishi-shinjuku, 14 mins walk), both connected and sheltered walkway to the Shinjuku station. Metered taxis to and from Shinjuku/hotel costs below 1000yen. Bear in mind that the hotel taxi area is not sheltered. The hotel is popular as the lobby area are often full of tourists. The twin room that we booked are small, but enough to open up 2 cabin sized luggage after shifting the furniture around in the room. Beds are clean and I like the small pillow that you can hug to sleep. I also like that the hotel room has an air deodorizer spray for your clothes, shoes...etc. Housekeeping (deep cleaning) is available once every 3 days. The hotel has a bakery and a restaurant on site. I especially like the donuts from the bakery. Food at the restaurant was good and delicious. Hotel staff are very friendly and we borrowed umbrellas from the hotel as it was raining most of the time while we were in Tokyo.

The staff and restaurant people were amazing, the rooms are a little small, specially for us who got luggage for a month, but definitely would recommend this place. The area around it was beautiful, there is a great park just in front of the hotel

This was a very fun hip hotel! The decor was very pretty. Our room was spacious with a large bathroom and tub. There is also a fun bakery connected to the hotel with delicious goods!

The staff was very nice but the people in the restaurants werent so nice especially the italian restaurant. Only restaurant in Japan I didnt have a good experience. The waitress offered us the special of the day and then said oh never mind, we cant honor due to the time of day. The restrooms were awful, it even gave me headaches. Out of all the hotels in Japan this was the worst one ever. I would never stay here again or recommend anyoone to stay.

The hotel is a nice walk to Shinjuku Station and the park outside the hotel was very nice during the spring with all the cherry blossoms. The staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was yummy

The rooms in this hotel are small but have everything you need. The bakery downstairs is very convenient and popular, and has lovely baked goods, The lobby is a vibrant place where travellers hang out - has access to electricity and wifi too. Would recommend this place for people who won't be spending too much time in their hotel room but want a nice place to rest in between outings.

What a wonderful hotel. From the staff to the dining options, so glad we stayed here! There are communal areas to hang out in, it’s not too far from main craziness of Shinjuku (about a 5 min walk from Tochomae station and about 15 min walk from Shinjuku). It’s also next to a lovely park- get a park view room, great view when the cherry blossoms are out! The staff also took extra care of my mother, who was room bound for a few days due to a foot injury (thanks Benny!). Would definitely stay here again.

The staff spoke English and were extremely helpful. The in house bakery had some amazing goods, but be warned that if you don't get there once it opens, the lines can get really long! Especially on the weekend. The hotel has a bunch of izakayas around, and is also close enough to the Kabukicho Tower shopping district (20min walk), but for enough away to not deal with the noise. Also, Shinjuku Chuo Park is right across the street. Great place for a late night stroll or early morning stretch.

Breakfast buffet was delicious - gorgeous omelettes! The bar upstairs is also pleasant, overlooking the pretty lobby - which also offers chilled DJ music on a Friday night. Try out Chakey’s nearby if you’d like local hospitality until the early hours at reasonable drink prices.

The Knot was such a beautiful hotel; very modern and cleaned. The breakfast was the best we’ve ever had, and we’ve stayed in many hotels. The only thing we didn’t like was the fact that you can hear everything in the rooms. We couldn’t really sleep at night because we kept hearing the next door couple talking and such. The walls were so thin that we could also hear someone snoring.

This hotel is a welcoming cozy place to stay during your time in Tokyo. The staff is polite and helpful with everything. I know I'm staying here again on my next visit and recommending it to friends.

Everything is decent and hotel is close to a bus stop. Only thing that bothered me was the cleaning. They clean every 3 days but it was basically folding your bedsheets. The hotel do provide water/towels daily though.

This was a very convenient stay for me, as it was only a 700 meter walk to my start corral for the Tokyo Marathon. A park across the street for shakeout runs, walking distance to three different shinjuku train lines, nearby food options, a great restaurant and bakery inside the hotel, and convenience stores nearby. Shower water pressure was great. Beds were firm and comfortable. Staff was 5-star quality. The rooms are a bit smaller than western hotels, but you could do much worse in Japan. If you're looking for a more budget friendly option (specifically near the starting line of the marathon), you won't find better.

Great property in a great area that's right across from a large park. This was our favorite place we stayed in Japan in terms of location. The rooms were modern and clean but a tad small compared to other properties. You could tell this hotel caters heavily to young travelers and nomads, there is a large gathering area downstairs (convenient place to eat) that would be a great place to meet people if you're interested.

Caters to North Americans/English speakers and feels like an American hotel so if that is your thing, you will likely enjoy. Rooms were clean but average. We faced a brick wall and balconies of the adjoining apartment building out of our window. Also I don’t know if we missed instructions but in three nights our room was never cleaned, all they did was remove garbage and replenish towels. Great location - very central, next to a beautiful park and subway a five minute walk away.

The room is too small, barely has room to turn around, the bathroom has a step, and it is tiny. The staffs are fluent in English, make it very convenient and friendly to US travelers, but the room is REALLY SMALL.
