I stayed here almost a year ago and I guess I could tolerate it. This time, with a small room, uncomfortable bed and pillows, I requested a refund for my remaining nine days. Due to coming here to study, it was imperative to get decent sleep at night so I could concentrate while in a medical clinic. Thanks to excellent customer service from Hotels.com, I not only got a refund but they found me a very comfortable place in Akasaka at MyStays, albeit significantly more expensive. Most hotels have at least one person at the front desk who can speak some English, since Tokyo is an international city. Marroad Inn is very limited in this respect.
