Staff were very friendly & willing to accommodate our disappointments with the hotel.
Our hotel transfer didn't turn up due to a car accident,we had to arrange this at the airport,cost more & funds then came from our cash flow.Ibrahim & staff greeted us & apologised.Our room was a large suite costing $172AUDpn
the AC didn't work,we changed to another smaller room which had a private pool.We asked to be compensated but was told the room is more expensive.The pool was dirty with foliage,paint from the building,pool lights floating in the water.A voucher for dining in the restaurant was given.Breakfast was good,fruit was room temp.Last day I went to take some fruit back to room & was told no.A lady I had seen everday took food back to her parents in a container,handful of pastries etc.When I questioned this was adv she paid extra for A la Carte,she was eating the same food from the buffet.The hotel provided pool towels,we waited two days before the towels came in & one staff mentioned the Germans don't like to spend money.
Noc at reception did everything within her capability for us to have a pleasant stay, to which we are grateful. She arranged for our return transfer to the airport which the hotel paid for. Jay in the restaurant was also pleasant & provided good service also at the pool bar.
The hotel desperately needs some money spent on it.The room next to us had the ceiling caved in & the pool was not clean.Tiles around the pool edge were loose.Close to beach,supermarket
