Everywhere you look they have 5 stars printed on everything, from the staff clothing to the vans . This property is far from 5 stars, and they have just decided to call themselves 5 stars based I presume on the other accommodations in the area. We booked a suite , not a junior suite but a suite, now within my extensive travel experience a suite within a 5 star hotel offers a bedroom and a separate sitting area. This is not the case, these suites offer a bed with a couple of chairs at the end of a bed to watch TV. It is merely a larger single room. The really strange thing is that these suites were once car garages attached to the apartments they also offer. They replaced the doors to the garage with windows, the ramped up brickwork outside to originally get the car into the stalls are still there. The room itself is a total IKEA showroom, all of the furnishings, fixtures and cabinets are from IKEA. So your suite is a converted garage stall that feels like a college level decorated space. The closet is 12” deep so you can’t put your bags away and close the doors. The bathroom mirror is delaminating . The mini bar was never restocked after 4 nights. The breakfast was a completely self serve affair of meaningless food. They don’t even bring you coffee. They display all of their bottles of wine with price tags hanging off them in the food hall, how tacky. Obviously no room service, no turn down, no extra towels etc, all things that are required to be 5 stars.
