Nice and clean. Pool could be bigger… it was very loud when full of kiddos in such a small area.

Cons... At 2:00am the overnight staff person was.cleaning the floors and loudly talking on her speakerphone while.walking up and down the hallway past our room. I opened the door and asked her if she knew what time it was? She said it was 2:08, she asked me if there was something wrong! I shut and locked.my door at that stupidly obvious question. Other than that, we enjoyed our day and the rest of the staff were helpful and polite.

The hotel was close to the venue for the home school basketball tournament and with the snow that arrived unexpectedly, they kept the parking lot cleared well.

The breakfast hours were a little too early for us Illinois visitors. But we enjoyed the stay and would definitely go back again.

Exercised in the pool. Bottom of the pool a little slippery. Room quiet, clean, heated to comfort, outdoor grounds kept neat and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and had a great night's sleep. The only thing that is disappointing is the public drive that leads to the motel. It has many potholes, uneven pavement, and is in poor quality before you reach the safety of Comfort Inns parking lot.

Overall good hotel, what u expect. Only thing bib change is I was told there pool is heated. Do to my toddler having a close to Christmas birthday i always try to find a heated pool for him cuz he loves the water. Usually we go to another hotel but there pool was down so tried this one. It's way to cold. I mean u do eventually get use to it but definitely not heated like I was told.

Pleasant and accommodating staff. The property was safe, clean and reasonably quiet given the close proximity to the interstate. Unfortunately, the pool was under maintenance, which was disappointing.

Toni and Beth were amazing! They tried to help me in every way even though Expedia were not helpful. I will never be booking with Expedia again. I will, however, stay at this comfort inn anytime I am around the area! The pool was very nice for my daughter! I also left something in the room and received a call just a few minutes after leaving so I could return for it. Thank you Comfort Inn!

Room so smelly unusable & no willingness to cancel
We booked a king room through hotels.com just a few minutes before walking into the hotel. When we arrived and entered the king room, it smelled horrific. We reported this, and asked for a different room. They had no other king rooms, so we asked for a refund. Hotels.com was fine with a cancellation since we'd just booked and the room was unusable, but the hotel said they 'didn't want to be 'stuck' with the room. They wouldn't cancel, even though they'd only received the reservation a few minutes prior. We ended up staying in a room with two beds. It was fine, but not what we'd booked for our getaway. We wasted an hour in discussions, with no apology and no concessions from the hotel. I travel frequently and understand that guarantees can't always be given on rooms, but when a king shows availability when booking and check-in is just a few minutes later with no usable room available, we felt that the way this was handled was unprofessional and unfair. I'll choose other hotels over Comfort Inn's after this experience.

Excellent overall, except for the bathroom
Our stay was generally excellent. Check-in was quick and the person at the desk who helped us was professional and prompt. Public spaces were very clean. The room was also very clean...furniture, carpet, bedding. The pool was also extremely clean...one of the best I've been to. The one downside was the bathroom. It was clear it hadn't been given the same level of attention as the rest of the room, especially the sink area. The other "yuck" element related to a lot of water damage around the tub, both at the floor level, and from the bathroom above. Mold was growing next to the tub and the plaster was bubbling out. Not the best look in an otherwise very nice room.

Rude staff
Everyone who works here is extremely rude. We were charged an extra fee upon arrival and basically told tough luck when we showed them our receipt from hotels.com showing we paid in full. They did later refund the fee, but it was a very stressful ordeal that didn't need to take place.
