Could not fault this hotel! Great value for money. Amazing staff. 12pm check out!! Spacious rooms and very clean. 5 minute walk to train station and walkable to bars/restaurants etc. The shower was my favourite.

The Pentahotel Inverness is centrally located and surrounded by eateries, pubs, stores and historical landmarks. It is very convenient even if you only have a day or two to spend in Inverness. Both the bus and train station are located very close to the hotel.

Was stranged in lift for 45 minutes that broke down no applogy given free pint ruined my night out staff didnt have sufficent training lost keys to open doors health and safety issues

We're pretty local and were using Penta as a base for a night out in town as the train connections late are rubbish. The hotel was super stylish, with a large bar in the middle, pool tables, and comfortably seating areas. Staff were very helpful and we had a very large room with an enormous bathroom. For the rate we paid (£60 for the night between us) it was an absolute bargain!

Do not stay here. They stole my money and cancelled my booking and were happy to do it! My partner and I got caught in a storm and there was no possible way to make our acomodation as all rail, highways, and flights were stopped. After informing the hotel that we would be heavily delayed, they informed us the booking could not be cancelled. So we told them we would arrive as soon as possible (They were paid in full). When we arrived we found out that they canceled our room, took full payment, refused a refund under any circumstances, and also never offered any kind of an apology. And sold our room to other guests. They never notified us that they cancelled the room and we still have no documentation that they did so, meaning we can’t even use our travel insurance for a refund. After reviewing the hotels terms and conditions. storms and flooding are grounds for a refund but they said that it’s not their problem and the manager Charlie angus was laughing that he doesn’t have to give us a refund because of a string of technicalities. He told us that the storm that caused a national emergency in Scotland was only a yellow level event and not a red level event so the terms of penta hotels don’t apply, he also told us that because we booked through Expedia his terms don’t apply, even tho Expedia also refused a refund because of penta hotels terms. Expedia should not offer these hotels on its service, they stole our money and were happy to do it.

Nice bar area extortion prices .Slow check in computer slow .Nice enough room but room not serviced from one night to next ,no teabags replaced no bin emptied no bed made so bit disappointing.Card only in bar no cash maybe just as well with the prices.

My son and i had an overnight stay due to connection for buses and ferries and we were delighted with the hot, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, our room had a double bed but it got changed to a twin it was warm in our room beds very comfy hotel was beautiful and we thoroughly e joyed our stay

This was a very well located hotel, the staff were exceptionally friendly and we really appreciated their work. We had made an error when booking our room and they were able to get us into an appropriate room despite their system being down - all while making conversation and recommendations for around Inverness. Great stay. No parking on site, but Rose Street Multi is very close by and easily accessible. Dinner reasonable and a great and generous breakfast. All staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was spacious, clean, warm without being too hot, and despite being centrally located, the room was quiet. Recommended.

Quick and easy stay
Quick and easy stay at the hotel. Arrived late and departed early so didn't use the bar or breakfast but the atmosphere in the foyer is quite dark and funky. Room was kind of Holiday Inn Express standard but without a lot of space. Bathroom like every hotel in the world has poor design so water escapes all over the floor when you have a shower 😂

This Penta seemed to be a typical three star hotel, with aclean, but spartan room, and minimally interesting design---the fittings were all plain and generic. But for its cost, and site on the a main street downtown, it was reasonably good value--my room was big and had air con. Be prepared for a surprise at the reception desk----it actually doubles as a trendy bar! The staff were all very young and possibly inexperienced, but were helpful (but hardly brisk)

Disappointed except by the breakfast
The shower had mold in it and no fans to suction the steam out so the whole room would smell like mildew. The water wouldn’t run consistently one temp and would go from hot to cold. Adjoining rooms were paper thin and could hear the couple next to me throwing up.

Noisy room. Way overpriced. Very little storage for clothes in room. Would not advise of you are a light sleeper. £220 a night and breakfast wasn’t included!!

Wifi was too weak to connect laptop to internet in hotel room. Staff is aware of problem and said people just conduct business on laptops in the bar, which had loud music playing and was not conducive to work environment.

This hotel is very close to the bus/train station. I chose it as a start and end point for my trip to the Orkney. They canceled my start point reservation a few hours before reservation. I have not seen a refund yet. They had promised I could store a bag there before I made the reservation. After I got there, they denied having that capability. As far as the facilities go: 1. the room and hallway were very dark; 2. the breakfast service area was too small.

We stayed at the Pentahotel Inverness for one night. The hotel could not be more conveniently located. It is steps to the train station and the Victorian Market. The room was very clean, bright and had a wonderful view of the town. The staff was friendly and even stores our luggage in a locked room for convenience. Highly recommended.
