ROACH (photos) !! FLOOD IN MY ROOM FROM AIR CONDITIONING UNIT.
(& to add insult to injury....NO REFUND AFTER WAITING 21 DAYS!)
All I'll say is, after a flood in my room and roach, the Manager met with me and we talked in the hallway in front of my hotel room. I showed him the photo on my phone of the dead roach, and had him come into my room and into the bathroom. He apologized profusely & told me I would get a full refund. I told him I was DESERVING of the refund. Later that morning, I checked out at the KIOSK.... and they provided the bill to me, it was still showing 'payment in full' and charges on my credit card - so I told the Kiosk person in the box, that the manager was giving me a FULL REFUND due to the flood in my room and the Roach. I asked him to take the charges off right away. He told me he couldn't do that, and that I would see the reversed charges in 10-12 days
1) No refund. It's been 21 days.
2)) I called the Days Inn Sarasota today (21ST DAY). The Customer Service Rep answered my call & it was a bad connection with crackling on his headset. I told him he couldn't be heard. He fixed his headset, then said to me "What's your problem?" (Um, excuse me, but, is that how you address a client?)
