A unique quiet hotel a short walk from all the major attractions and within easy reach of some superb restaurants. Hotel staff were welcoming and gave us help with eating out. A real must when visiting Rome.

Since the moment i made my reservation the comunicacion via emails was 10 . Upon arrival checking was easy and very quick specially after 13 hours flights. The staff was very attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and respectful. Room was as expected. Simple, elegant, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was excellent . Overall it exceeded my expectations.

Very helpful staff at the check in desk. The room was clean and quiet and spacious. The breakfast was good although the dining area is too small for the number of guests. We had one dinner in the restaurant which I would not recommend. We walked everywhere from here so the location was great

We stayed from 2/8 thru 2/18 and we had a wonderful stay. The hotel is older but centralized, rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Only bad thing is the hotel is on a busy street so if you have a front room you will hear some noise. I didn’t mind at all but some people may be bother by the street activity. The staff is what made our stay so wonderful. Always willing to help! Vincent was just so nice, full of information. Just love talking to him! Breakfast came with the stay, fresh pastries, cappuccinos, eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereal and juice. The restaurant offered a great menu as well. Overall, it was a great stay. We will stay here again on our next visit to Rome! Ciao!

The staff at Hotel La Residenza were all very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in a great location in a quiet street but within a few minutes walk of the Spanish Steps and Borghese Gallery. There was good selection available at breakfast. The beds were extremely comfortable.

Very good traditional Italian Hotel, nice rooms. Walking distance to main tourist attractions and Metro 5 min. away. Breakfast good for Italian standards, but could offer more variety.

Second time staying here and would definitely recommend it for your Rome vacation. Staff is wonderful breakfast delightful and location perfect. Close to Metro station and dining options. Also by American Embassy. Quiet area at night to sleep easily

We booked this hotel to spend Christmas in Rome, on arrival from the airport, being dropped off in a back street/alley lined with bins did not fill us with great confidence, however this hotel is a ‘Little Gem’ within walking distance to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Villa Borghese and with close transport links to other parts of the city. All staff at the hotel were helpful, friendly and attentive, rooms spacious with newly refurbished bathrooms and amazing walk in showers! a good continental selection at breakfast and lots of shopping, cafes and restaurant's in the surrounding area. It’s a great part of the city to stay. We will definitely stay here again when we next visit Rome.

Great hotel and staff from front desk to breakfast and dinner. We got nice room with motorized blinds and a patio with table and chairs. Just hope you don't get the family upstairs with kids stomping back and forth all day and night, like we did on the last night. Still a great hotel.

I love our stay at La Residenza hotel. Its walkable but not close enough to Barberini station, the road is very steep so if you are tired walking the entire day, this must be something to take a look into. The breakfast is very good with lots of choices.

I would never stay at this hotel again! Firstly, when my wife and I arrived the woman at the front desk was very rude and not helpful at all. We asked for help with our bags as we walked from the main train station she could tell we were very hot etc and her attitude was beyond poor. I asked for her name unsure if I’m spelling it correctly - Yourdit was her name. Staff overall were not very polite. Only found one man at the front who was nice. I booked a premium room, there was nothing premium about this room. The mattress was rock hard and the 2 single beds pushed together had massive curves in the centre of them with flat and the most uncomfortable pillows I’ve ever come across in a hotel. The room was on the first floor and directly out the window on the ground floor was 4 large air conditioning vents that made extremely loud noises constantly. Would stop for 15 minutes then start again. Even with the windows closed you could hear this loud noise constantly. The fridge that is attached to the wall had very loud noises all night, sounded as though there was wind whirling around the room. This was very annoying. The overall housekeeping is poor and the benches in the bathrooms would not be wiped down and the floor after our 6 nights was filthy with fluff on the floor. There was a piece of fluff that was in the corner of the main area and it was not cleaned after 6 nights. There was also mould on the wall of the shower. Unsure how this is a 4 star hotel.

I found the hotel very clean and modern, with very nice bathrooms and furnishings. We are in the restaurant which the food was very good. The breakfast was also very good and a pretty good selection. When eating at the restaurant for dinner one night we were asked to pay in cash which I found odd and made me feel uncomfortable because I did not have any cash on me. And they wouldn't let me out it on my hotel bill. There was no room service and there was no kettle to make a coffee or tea in my room once the restaurant was closed. I tried to call reception but did not have the number and nothing like a phone list. I went to reception to ask for their number for future and was told that I was verbally given the number at checkin. Second time I felt uncomfortable. I want complaining but felt uneasy as if they thought I was. This is the reason for the 4 stars.

hotel staff were very helpful from the time of our booking to our arrival at the FCO airport. The lady who served us coffee during breakfast was friendly and accommodating as well. Im impressed with how clean our room is and the hotel in general.

This hotel is a small boutique hotel. The property was very clean and convenient to walk anywhere in Rome. We walked to Vatican and Colosseum. The room was very large for European standards and our room had a bed bigger than a King size (reason we chose hotel). The decor and the furniture are a little outdated, but very functional. The room had a decent size bathroom and a great shower. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was located facing the front of the hotel and it was kid of loud. Rome is a very loud city at all times. Italians communicate with their car horns and talk very loudly :). The A/C in the unit made some noises and was kind of annoying to sleep. One quirk of this hotel is that you have to leave the key with the front desk every time you go out. They actually use a real old fashioned key on a key holder that weights half a pound (not sure you would want to carry that thing all day in your pocket). One bad thing about the property was the TV. It was old and slow. However, it did have Netflix (thank God).

The place feels more like an palazzo than just a hotel. Friendly staff and a superb restaurant! Have stayed there before and will stay there again. I highly recommend it !

Pro: We enjoyed our 7 day stay. The hotel is very clean and the staff is excellent. Rooms are very spacious and housekeeping does a fabulous job with room care each morning. Breakfast buffet is good. Con: Rooms have no coffee / tea makers. The refrigerator is mounted on the wall that only holds 2-12oz bottled waters, and 2 cans of soda. There is no phone or clock. You will need to use your cell phone to call friends / family staying in other rooms. Rate: 4 Stars We recommend La Residenza because it's a very nice hotel with great staff, but the rooms are a bit "plain".

This is a well located and safe option. Our rear facing first floor room had a musty smell - the downside. Breakfast is good and the waitress brilliant. The bar area is nice and offers a good selection of wines by hotel standards. Happy to recommend - just ask for a higher floor.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good in room facilities. Great location and quiet neighbourhood close to transport and walkable to bustling areas. Hotel restaurant lacked atmosphere but food was nice. Would recommend.

Amazing Hotel! Great location, close to Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, shopping and restaurants. The hotel itself has a awesome restaurant. Booking with Expedia gave us complimentary breakfast and a surprise …comp dinner! Just pay for beverages at dinner time. Great food and awesome staff. There are some gentle hills and tricky bricks to navigate on some streets. If you need transportation, the hotel can get a taxi within minutes. They can also schedule airport transfers. Definitely exceeded our expectations!!!
