The vent in the shower was filthy with dust, no pad and pen in room for notes, no hotel information in room. Pool was locked and we needed to go to front desk and the pool area had a bandaid on the pole and the walls did not look clean.

Considering hotel was empty, second night they put a family right next to us. We had a connecting room with the door, could not sleep it was after midnight, thin walls could hear their loud conversation. Poor management of placing people, if the hotel is empty at least scatter people a bit to give some quiet and privacy! It was pricey hotel even in off-season early March. The least that could be done not to jam all guests so close to each other when the whole place is empty!

The bathroom in the room my sisters stayed had a bathtub that had no slip strips or bathmat When she went into shower she almost fell because the tub was so slippery. In addition, it was nearly impossible to get shampoo or soap from the dispensers in the shower My sister said she felt extremely unsafe being on a slippery surface and having to use so much force to try and get soap from dispenser. I was very disappointed that my sister paid for a room and almost had an accident because of the lack of safety precautions by the hotel and the reaction or non reaction or concern by the front desk staff. Loved the Jacuzzi in the pool area, easy to enjoy in the off season. Staff were all very helpful and cheerful. Hotel nice and quiet because it was the off-season

We got a dirty room that has unclean linen. The switched our room after complaining late at night when we wanted to be sleeping. I tried contacting them multiple times and no one got back to me.

We were ignored when trying to check in - we had to always wear a hospital-type bracelet to let people know we were guests, we had called to confirm that the jacuzzi was working (the main reason we choose this hotel) but it had been out of service for months, the TV didn't work, lights were flickering in the bathroom, a blanket was delivered in a garbage bag and a spoiled gourd had leaked leaving a mess on the dining table we were seated at. Then the gate wouldn't open when leaving the property. We have never complained about any of the many hotels we've stayed at but this was so bad and comical at the same time. Some staff were great, others couldn't care less. The ocean views were wonderful but this experience will stay with us.

I had to change rooms 3 times...first there was a cockroach on the wall. I called for them to come kill it before it started flying and no one came. Then they moved me to another room and there was a huge Spotted lantern flying. I went to change the room again. Then ALL night the floor we were on had kids partying and being loud all night. NONE of the doors have a seal, so under the door anything can crawl in.

The staff was very helpful with accommodations as well as places to go around the hotel. The weather was not the greatest for an overnight stay but the room and the view was very relaxing.

My Wife and I loved our stay! First and foremost, the fact that you can park once and walk everywhere is awesome! We loved all of the services. The food, service, staff, cleanliness, amenities, etc. Out of our 4 day stay, we honestly had 0 problems.

This is a good hotel. The inside is pretty clean. Rooms have some wear for example top of desk chair material is completely shredded.room garbage bins are so tiny two water bottles would fill it. I stayed on the 7th floor and elevator hallway smelled like dirty diapers to the point I had to go complain because the elevator wait time is never short and the smell while I waited was making me nauseous. Entrance lobby is very pretty and also clean inside the hotel all bathrooms are very clean but there outdoor beach bathrooms which you are told at check in are there for your use after the beach and for your convenience in case you’d like to stay after checkout to clean up are totally disgusting and are far worse than the beach public bathrooms. This is where I feel a huge improvement needs to be made for the the price that is being charged per night. Also tried to use gym treadmills and could not because they are so warn that they are to unstable to run on. Luckily the boardwalk is nice and long enough for a run which is what I opted for but if it was raining my run wouldn’t have happened. I feel they should remove those treadmills as they are hazardous. Outdoor pool had napkins floating in it and no one cleaning up things flying in. Outdoor hot tub was out of order and had a large black tarp over it which was a Bummer because I wanted to use at the end of the day and couldn’t. Besides these point’s everything else was good but as I mentioned for over $700 a night can do better!

Only things to mind is expensive in house food, indoor pool wasn’t heated, and massage would be better if either included or reduced price. Besides that mostly what you would expect out of a small resort.

Ocean Place has a great location. That is what brings us back frequently. The dining options can be a bit better however what they do serve is good. The pools are great and the Tiki Bar is the star!! Love tyhat the property is pet & family friendly.

Room smelled like mold and was horrible ac barely worked and service was horrible waited more then 45 min for a drink at the hotel bar multiple times gate to Get in and out of hotel didt work without calling staff to open it every time and most of staff was rude and acted like you were bothering them when u asked for something

Surprisingly loved the property despite seeing reviews saying it was outdated, definately has a nice resort feel, clean spaces and staff across the board was great. Loved easy access to beach with chairs and umbrellas at the ready and right next door to pier village. Pool areas could use updating and some of the rooms but nothing terrible we had a great stay!
