The definition of the word "Inn" is "an establishment providing accommodations." "Inn" is universally used in the title of a wide variety of accommodation businesses from hotel/motels to B&Bs, lodges, chalets, etc.

You chose to book our most basic, budget room type - as clearly described in our listing. Next time, book one of our deluxe apartments. If you're traveling on a budget we strongly recommend not traveling to Prince Edward Island in high season (July and August).

We're thrilled to hear that you loved our brilliant apartments! We too think that the Banbridge Inn makes an ideal base for island adventure. Hi Oliver, Thank you for choosing to stay with us! We are so happy you found our property cute and enjoyed our large grounds. We are very proud to not be a "typical" chain hotel- one of the many reasons why guests love staying with us. We are a family owned and operated motel since my father started the business in 1967 (as described in our listing). Conveniently located on Capital Drive where the majority of hotel/motels are located. We are the only accommodation in the city of Charlottetown to have 5 acres of lovingly landscaped grounds. It sounds like you would have preferred to stay at a chain hotel with a pool. However, you were here for a last-minute, 1 night stay during the busiest, most expensive time of the year and chose to book with us (because we were the most suitable property with a vacancy). We do have rooms that start at your budget if you book direct. We have never had a room rate of $270 in the 51 year history of our business. If you've been over-charged you need to contact Expedia as your contract is with them. If you're traveling on a budget in Canada's smallest province we recommend advance planning. Our top priority is ensuring guests have a great stay and we are very happy to share our travel tips and local knowledge.
