My husband and I were extremely disappointed with everything at this hotel, particularly given it's considered a 4-star hotel.
Check-in: We arrived a little before check-in time. The room was not yet ready and the supervisor who checked us in refused to give us any information (for example, I asked if he could remind me if I had breakfast included. He said I get no information until check-in time of 2PM). Nobody offered to take our luggage when we went to eat prior to the room being ready.
They do not allow any late check out (even if no one is checking into your room) unless you pay 1K THB per additional hour. They also charge 300 THB if you don't return the plastic room key at the end of your stay.
Room: The room and dresser both smelled like mildew- it was clear they had never been aired out. The toilet flusher wasn't working properly and continuously got stuck. The shower had dried water droplets all over it. They never cleaned it with Windex or a similar cleaner to get rid of them. The bed was hard and uncomfortable.
Pool: The pool itself is beautiful, huge, and a good temperature. However, the staff is constantly working on the deck during pool hours causing disruptions. One day they were sanding for hours (noisy), another day they were painting (smelly), another day they were cleaning. Pool chairs are blocked off during this time leaving less room for people to sit.
Food: Sub-par & expensive for the quality.
Staff: Poor attitude & rude.
