Things started to go wrong from the moment I got to the Hilton (which is inside a shopping centre called CNIT). I arrived later than expected (around 9.30pm) but the CNIT closes at 9 so the main entrance (with signed for the Hilton) was locked and no other signs anywhere to show where to do or what to do! After 20 minutes of looking around, I had to give up and call the hotel to be given instructions of how to go through the construction ground to find a side entrance with a small sign to press a button to call the hotel so they can open the door! WHY! It shouldn't be this hard just to get in! Once in all went as expected. Checked in, went to the room number 210 (odd room with a Gym in it - See Pics). View from the window of the construction outside I walked thought to get to the Hilton. Went to bed, then at around 3:30 am, the noise started from the guys doing the construction outside my window! 3:30 AM - Are they mad? Do they not know its a hotel with people trying to sleep! Needles to say, that was the last of my sleep, and the hotel said I was "unlucky" and they "cant help what time the workers starts" as its not them doing it! Well, that makes it OK with me - NOT! £200+ to have a crappie night sleep!?! This was my first time in the Hilton here, and my last time. I come monthly to La Defense and I normally stay at the Renaissance nearby and its far far better all round. If only it hadn't been fully booked, I would have stayed there this time too :(

I like the area because is safe and quiet but I didn’t like when you come at night they closed the acces to the hotel at 8:00 pm because is inside de Mall and the only entrance is by where the taxis are very inconvenient if you come after 8:00 pm and want to use the metro line

The hotel is great. The location a bit isolated from the city. It doesn't matter if you're there for work, because it's proximity to the station is ideal. Not exactly fun if you're on holiday and you want to "step outside and feel the Parisian vibe"

Very disappointed in Hilton
I had to change rooms, because they put me in a room next to a construction crew that started working at 9am. After, I call the front desk to complain they moved me to around room. The air condition in this made this very annoying sound every 5 minutes all night long. We got no sleep.

Excellent location with great transport links to central Paris and airports. Breakfast great at hotel. Some work going on around La Defense area when we stayed but that did not impact us greatly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would fully recommend this hotel.

Hotel is not located in the historic area, also it is located inside of a shopping Mall which also under construction. If you want to see Paris this hotel in not in a convenient location at all.

It was hard getting in the hotel once the mall was closed. Staff very seldom answered the intercom to allow entry because staff was rarely at the front desk.

Great Hotel, Beware If You Need Wifi
Great hotel with a great gym and service. The only bad thing is the wifi -- the wifi is SLOW. I couldn't do any work while there. I tried calling the front desk but they said it was the best they could do.

Hotel entrance at the back side of the building, long way to the metro, the reception iss at the 1st level, means you should carry your luaggage up in elevator, then change the elevator , the rooms are totally closed overlooking some covered internal glass cone, there is no direct normal lighting, the lobby do not encourage any body to sit, in the room itself, it was clean, but no water, no enough shampoo , even no pen or piece of paper to write anything, as for the TV, all non-French channels were closed, I felt its a 3 star hotel with larger room

Our hotel is easily accessible by public transportation (La Défense station), by bar (Parking CNIT) and by taxi (2 place Carpeaux).The lobby and entrance areas are currently under renovation. Once completed the lighting will be enhanced and the design much brighter.We are deploying bulk amenities in all bathrooms, and I confirm that our guests have shampoo, shower gel, conditioner and body lotion available in our bathrooms.Two bottles of mineral Water are placed in room before your arrival. During COVID time we have decided to remove pen and paper, but we are now putting them back to the rooms.In terms of TV channels, we had an issue when you were staying with us as French and international channels are available.Please accept our sincere apologies and we hope to have the pleasure welcoming you back soon to Paris.Kind regards,

Excellent & welcoming staff, always ready to help with a smile, Davide & Malki made my son's bday extra special by sending the cake to the room on the day. Marc in the breakfast room took such good care of us. Very convenient to get to the city with the metro underneath the hotel, clean & spacious rooms. There was an internet issue with the room which was promptly resolved by Malki at the front desk. Davide, you are exceptional..we miss your greetings every morning!!

The front desk staff was great, but when i checked in no one mentioned that there would be construction in the building that started at 7am and lasted all day (i was on vacation and wanted to relax being up at 7am everyday was not ok) and when booking they do not say that you won’t have direct access to the front door, housekeeping stole from me, but i did get reimbursed after a long debate with staff, i probably will not stay at that Hilton again when visiting Paris and I do not recommend it

We have now fully refurbished our 153 rooms and the entrance, lobby and restaurant will be renovated in the coming months. There are no complimentary water. I had to pay £6 for one bottle of water unless I go to buy water in monoprix. I called recption from the room several times, they’ve never answer the phone. I felt like it is not 4 start of hotel service. The located of the hotel was comfortable and easy to go from the train station by RER Line A.

Expectations not met - below standard
We were put in a room with 2 twin beds, each of which was very narrow to fit 2 people each! The air-con didn't function, either. Sleeping experience was not good (too narrow). The complimentary coffee creamer in the room had expired and already dried out (evaporated) probably months ago. When I complained about this at the reception, showing the little creamer containers, they agreed with me that it's a no-go, but did not solve the problem for my entire stay. Just there, I got some milk from the bar. No further apologies or creamer supply into the room. On our final night, people next-door were having a party incl. music, loud chattering, bass, etc. until at least 2am. We complained at the reception multiple times and were always told that the security would take care of it. They couldn't/didn't. Finally, I asked to switch rooms, which saved the remaining night. I am just wondering why the reception did not proactively offer this to us instead of making us call them multiple times!! Finally, every morning, there was some kind of construction noise outside, which made us wake up punctually at 7.30am every day! This was not how we had imagined our holiday to be. Upon checkout, we were not asked how our stay had been. I would've expected at least some discount or waiving the EUR 60 dinner or similar. On the positive side: Good breakfast buffet incl. friendly and forthcoming service, also daily housekeeping was good.

Location is great. Close to mall, metro, shops and cafe/restaurant. Unfortunately the services are not very good. No staff available to deliver towels or plates to room or even pick up laundry; guests are required to do it themselves which is disappointing. However staff are kind and friendly.

I liked the room was very clean and large. I didn’t like there was no blanket and the air conditioner didn’t work, so I felt little bit cold. I asked staffs three times to bring blanket, but they did it bring soon. When I checked out, I found three items at mini bar in my room which I didn’t drink and eat were included in the fee. However, almost staffs were very kind and helpful to me.
