We arrived late to the hotel and when we entered our room, the non-smoking room had a strong smell of stale smoke. It was definitely not a non-smoking room. The room was also cold. Because it was so late, I did not bother to follow up with the front desk. However, it was not comfortable. The next day, I asked about the heat before leaving the hotel. The front desk said it was a breaker that they had to flip. When I returned to the room later that evening, the room was still cold. I went back to the front desk and was again told it was a breaker they had to flip. I went back to the room and eventually the room started to warm up, however, it did take a long time. The door between the bedroom and bathroom did not close properly. The toilet paper holder was broken.

It was ok stay. But there is a smell in the room that just seems like cigarette smoke. Maybe the room needs to be aired out. The breakfast also was not great. But I would give it a 7/10

Very clean well appointed room. Was disappointed that rooms are only made up every third day I’ve come to expect more. We had to go down to the desk for extra towels etc.

The size of the room was perfect with separate areas for work, entertainment, sleeping and dressing. Staff were cheerful and available and I could park where I could see my vehicle. Lots of lighting made me feel safe at night and it was very convenient for my work commitment.

The room was spacious and clean. Two items ruined my stay. The noise from what I believe was the heating apparatus. It was quite loud, quite close to the bed and switched on every thirty minutes or so. It continued for about five minutes before shutting off. Every time it switched on it woke me up. Secondly the showed not evacuate the water properly so that by the time I finished my seven minute shower I was up to my ankle in water.

It was clean and had a lot of amenities. There was a coffee maker, microwave, fridge in the kitchen area. Location was very convenient and parking was available. Although the decor was dated, the room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

Overall good experience at Quality Suites Whitby… room was close to front desk entrance, so it was a bit noisy with guests coming in & out of hotel. Great continental breakfast & friendly front desk staff. Dec 2023

The room was dirty. Found food from previous renters on the floor and sticky substances on the couch and walls. There was peoples food garbage left in the hallway for far too long. The breakfast wasn’t covered and people were sick. What I do like was the sink option in the room for kitchen microwave and fridge. Separate room area
