Absolutely disgusting and I wish I could get my money back! The cheap, peel and stick flooring tiles in our room were pulling up from the floor and made crunching sounds when we stepped on them. The remote control for the TV had NOT been cleaned (there was grease stains on it) even though it was in a bag that indicated it had been sterilized. When all four of us started experiencing cold symptoms, I checked the HVAC filters - the grime and dust was so thick that it rolled off the filter without even touching it. It was clear that those filters hadn’t been cleaned in over a year. There was bags of trash in front of the elevator doors and beer cans in the stairwells. On our checkout day, we had to evacuate our rooms to the lobby because the fire alarm went off. There was absolutely no direction given from the staff. We were all just standing in the lobby until the FD came and turned off the alarm. Again, no word from the staff on whether we could safely go back to our rooms or not - were the elevators safe to use? Was every floor cleared? What was the reason for the alarm going off? No effing clue. The whole building smelled like burnt toast and my kids were panicked. The staff member that checked us out of our room didn’t ask us how our stay was and didn’t even make eye contact, just handed us a receipt for the $19.99 per day resort fees and we left.
Not only will I never stay at this property again, I’m going to go out of my way to not stay at this brand of hotels.
