Good evening, thank you for writing review. i do apologize for the oversight of making the loft bed . I brought this to the attention of hskp supervisor. Our courtyard breakfast is a unique experience, but one that does have its limitations. When weather is compromised, we do bring it into the lobby for buffet service.

Thank you for the feedback. I am not sure you saw or realized, we have seating all around the courtyard, just not near the buffet table. Breakfast is marketed as an expanded contiental. Just so you know, industry Std Continental is breakfast breads w/coffee and Juice. Since we expanded it, We have so much more we offer Besides Thomas' English Muffins, we offer 3 flavors Yogurt, 2 cold cereals, 2 hot cereals, granola as a topper or just a bowl of granola, and dole sugar free fruit cups. The dampness is the humidity of New Orleans that we do our best to control in the rooms. But being a "courtyard" hotel, room door open to the courtyard, which allows dampness to creep in.

Dear Daniel, I am a bit confused. I am glad to read you appreciated the Free Parking with our valued room rate pricing. We are only a 10 min walk to the Convnt. Ctr., but then you said you wished you had stayed closer to the Convt Ctr. Had you stayed closer to the convnt.center, you would have paid minimal, 35 per night for parking (plus taxes and gratuity), and minimal, 40 per night plus taxes for the room. We saved you about 90 per night! Breakfast is quite expanded in relationship to industry std. continental fare. Std continental fare is breakfast breads w/coffee and juice. We opted to expand to include, THomas English Muffins, 2 cold cereals, 2 hot cearals, honey almond granola, 3 flavors yogurt, dole sugar free fruit cups. Amenities limited, not sure what you were expecting, but we market as a limited service hotel. Meaning, no pool, no bar/lounge/no restaurant. There are 6 very good restaurants within a 3 block radius of the hotel, several good bars too. We checked the shower curtain in the room you stayed in. I am not sure what you thought was disgusting, unless you didnt like the fact it was vinyl liner with a cloth outer layer. It was perfect clean, no mold or mildew and smelled like bathroom cleaners since we serviced your room daily while you were here. Thank you again for the feedback. Safe travels.

Dear Anonymous, i am sorry for any housekeeping pitfalls. We , as most hotels, are still struggling with short staffing, and as busy as we have been, sometimes small items fall through the cracks. We do our best to not have this happen, but it does from time to time. I will certainly look into the cigarette under the bed as our rooms are non smoking. As to recycling, since Hurricane Katrina, recycling bins haven’t been provided to commercial businesses, only residential. Commercial properties depend on waste management companies to haul garbage and do the recycling directly.

I am glad to know this 2nd stay inside 10 days was a bit calmer. No major parades or partying events this time to make it as rowdy of a crowd as it was previsously. Take care.

As a Limited Service Hotel, We market our breakfast as an Expanded Continental fare, not a full breakfast fare. What that means, we added to the industry standard of Continental, which is Breakfast pastries, coffee and orange juice- to the breakfast pastries of English Muffins, we added, 2 cold cereals, (Raisin Bran and Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds), 2 hot cereal options,( Oatmeal in 4 flavors, Grits- in 4 flavors), We have Yogurt ( 3 flavors) , Dole Sugar Free fruit cups ( 3-4 varieties). Certainly, there’s something for everyone to get their day started. I hope you enjoyed our City Take care and have a wonderful Spring.
