December Stay

ข้อดี: Location outside of New Orleans and access to I-10.
ข้อเสีย: Water pressure and temperature in the shower.
สถานที่ตั้ง: Location outside of New Orleans and access to I-10 is ideal if you don't like the busy traffic of the city.
First stay here in 2017. This is the hotel I chose due to it's convenience to and from New Orleans. Staff was very helpful. Room was clean and well kept. The only negative thing I can thing of is the water pressure and temperature in the shower wasn't really good. I had to let the shower run for a few minutes in order to reach the desired temperature. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Sink whole

Budget Hotel Close to Airport with Connected Ihop

ข้อดี: I liked that it was close to the airport but not noisy, and had a place to eat connected to the hotel so no searching was necessary.
ข้อเสีย: The rooms were a bit dingy and while there were no obvious issues, did not seem terribly clean.
สถานที่ตั้ง: Ihop is connected, strip malls and a nail salon less than 10 minutes away. Airport is also a short ride.
For a hotel the night before an early flight, it's great that it's a short ride to the airport and there is an Ihop connected to the hotel so you don't have to go hunting for breakfast. Not the nicest or cleanest-seeming hotel, but I had no issues and would have no problem staying again for a similar early-flight situation.

No trashbags

I hated that they didn't provide trash bags...but overall it was alright.

Good, clean hotel in a nice area.

The hotel was clean and bug free!! It was located in a nice area off the interstate, and it was connected to an IHOP restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful, too. I would suggest this hotel to people not familiar with the area.

A bit far from New Orleans city centre. However, very nice hotel- spacious clean rooms, professional staff, restaurant in site, affordable. Recommended for everyone.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Paint peeling from the bathroom walls, toilet barely flushes, missing drawer knobs, and the 'free breakfast' is literally a card for the ihop next door that only covers the cost of a coffee and a piece of toast. I felt very mislead by the amenities this hotel provides (allegedly) and was also charged additional fees that the staff ASSURED me I wouldn't be charged. When we originally booked our room we accidentally booked for 2 adults instead of 4. I called to change my booking in case it was more expensive and was told that there would be no extra cost and not to worry about it. 3 days after our trip we're charged an additional $80 for having 4 people in the room, and when we brought up the additional charges they told us that they could have doubled the charges and that we should be greatful. I'm not super high maintenance and the room did its job of giving me a place to sleep, but getting charged EXTRA for a hotel that did the bare minimum definitely made it 100x worse. Im pretty disappointed and in my 6 years of travel I've never had a stay so poor. I guess you pay for location, but even that isn't super great. I don't typically write bad reviews, but this is the first time I've genuinely felt taken advantage of and I'm pretty bummed about it. I had high hopes for this place but my experience fell flat.

Thank you for staying with us. Please reach out to us directly regarding the room you were in so we can address any issue that may need to be addressed in the room. We go through all of our rooms regularly for preventative maintenance and want to make sure everything is addressed. Also I will have a meeting with all front desk staff to address how they speak to and handle explaining things to our guests. In regards to the extra person fee, yes we do charge additional for more than 2 adults. When booking a reservation if you put 3 or 4 guests in at the time of booking it will change the rate accordingly.
