Room is decent and the location is good (very close to mt shasta ski park). Free breakfast options are good. Pool and spa are not working. Elevator stopped while I am in there and it took a few minutes for someone to open the door. Since staff already knew this problem, they should either repair or put some maintenance notice.

Lots of overflowing garbage. Area around the hotel was heavily littered. Lots of chipped paint in the room. Upholstered chair in room needed cleaning; neither my husband nor I wanted to sit in it.

Blinds/shades ripped, water between the panes of glass in the window. floor was not well vacuumed. Young woman at the front desk when we checked in was not friendly at all. Hotel seems tired, dingy, and in need of a remodel. Our needs were met, but even sitting on the couch felt yucky.

The workers that worked both the pm/am shift were all so kind and helpful and had great customer service. My son and I enjoyed the breakfast that was offered.

The hotel didn’t have water for my entire stay. Couldn’t shower, flush the toilet, etc. There was also no coffee and very limited breakfast items due to the lack of water. The cable also went out and didnt really work. The room was also freezing! Feels like they keep the heaters off on vacant rooms, which could have led to the pipe bursting. The staff were all super nice and the room was relatively clean.

Staff was exceptional! Room was spacious, clean and beds very comfortable. Also breakfast for all the family with variety of choices. Excellent for family stay.

The Comfort Inn is one of the few lodging accommodations in Weed, CA. It is very conveniently located close to Hwy 5. The reception people are very nice and the included breakfast has lots of selections of good quality. Our room was comfortable and just fine for our one night stay. Being so close to the highway, you do hear the traffic noise. Dining options are better in Mt. Shasta, but there is a Starbucks and a McDonalds very close to the hotel.

Would not rate as an 8+ hotel
I had booked the most expensive room the hotel offered for this trip. The staff was super nice and the room size and layout was great and loved that it was pet friendly. However, it is probably due for renovation. The toilet moved when used, the shower nozzle was leaking affecting water pressure, the carpet was worn and ripped, the sliding door wouldn't slide without a LOT of effort, the closet door came off the slide when barely moved, there were limited provisions in the kitchenette, the tv stand was not fully assembled (looked broken), the main tv didn't work (might have been remote batteries?)...it just seemed like a very neglected space.

No towels in the room when I arrived, but housekeeping happily brought them when asked. The bathroom was clean, but very dated and in need of new wallpaper since it’s peeling. The room was a bit noisy from traffic, but that may be because of the location. Staff was welcoming, but not overly friendly. The breakfast was good. The hotel served my means.
