I have traveled quite a bit in Europe. This stay was a huge disappoinment from the moment I entered the building. It is not accessible. I would not recommend for travelers with mobility issues due to stairs at entrance. The spa/pool area stank like dirty gym socks. But the worst of all were the staff at reception. Very unfriendly and not welcoming. On my first day took a walk and returned to a new receptionist at the front desk. Not knowing that I was a guest, I asked to make a dinner reservation and was told that the kitchen was closed. I left for another restaurant. When I returned, people were eating in the restaurant and the receptionist was "surprised" when I went to the elevator to go to my room. I decided then and there not to spend another Euro at the hotel over a three day stay for business.

Great stopover

Travelled on motorbike and when checking in we were offered their garage to park the bike under cover. Nice location close to restaurants etc. Good stopover on our way through Luxembourg

Really good nothing to mention except the grumpy breakfast room staff who seemed to be really taking stock on how much you had and not cracked a smile once

Comfortable and Convenient

The suites were spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was adequate. Bar was not very responsive, luckily there are options in town if you would like an adult beverage. The bathroom in my room had slanted roof in shower, slant started at 5'8", I'm 6'4" :( There were about 12 parking places on back side of property, otherwise pay parking lot is across the street. Overall I was pleased with my stay.

Location in City Center, perfect!

We had a very small room and even a smaller bathroom. The hotel management didn't give us the impression that we were guests.

Great location

Beautiful location, can see the castle from the hotel. It's like a fairy tale. Hotel staff very friendly. The bed was for the most part comfotable, except for the fact that it was two twin mattresses put together and they kept coming apart creating a huge space between them.

Lovely town

We went there for F1 Grand Prix in Belgium, Hotel is only 30minutes drive from Spa. Town is lovely and restaurants are really nice. We enjoyed our break and will definitely go back there.

Clervaux trip

Reasonably priced hotel just off the square in Clervaux. Very clean, comfortable room My room was near castle wall, so the sound from the bar activities below my room echoed into my room until about midnight on Friday. Very good breakfast.

Family managed hotel in a very nice environment

Great hotel with a family environment. Nothing fancy. Clean rooms, good bathroom and great location just a few blocks from center of town.

Clervaux - a well reconstructed gem

pleasantly welcomed in English. The co-operation of the restaurant st\aff was outstandingly good and made the evening meal a happily memorable experience. The only downside was the slightly inappropriateness of the bed-head storage and shelf arrangement

Uselt hotell

Uselt hotell med medioker service! Det så kallade Spa som ska finnas består av ett rum med några solstolar o bastu, för att nå poolen är man tvungen att ta sig ner för en spiraltrappa, ingen annan entre finns. Ansvarig på plats anser inte att detta är ett problem och säger sig aldrig ha fått något klagomål från gäster. Hotellets s.k. Spa är ett skämt! Frukosten är högst medioker. Otrevligt bemötande vid klagomål! Välj annat boende! /Mats

Hotel ligt op een prachtige locatie naast het kasteel. Helaas op de kamer geen waterkoker. Kamer erg schoon maar simpel. Zwembad tot 7 uur savonds geopend dus in verband met diner geen gebruik van kunnen maken. Bij het uitchecken is er nergens personeel aanwezig bij de balie. Wij zijn na 10 minuten wachten uiteindelijk maar weg gegaan.

Goed hotel. Gastvriendelijkheid verbeteren!

Inchecken was oke, wel afstandelijk. Bij volgend contact vertelde mijn vrouw dat we 38 jr, geleden ook in Du Commerce waren geweest, hier werd niet of nauwelijks op gereageerd. Jammer.

This was a clean well maintained hotel. The staff was friendly and profesional. The breakfast was good. The only negative i would say is that thier parking fills up quickly. Thay were quick to offer free parking right accross the street though so no real issue.

Es war alles soweit gut. Nur mit den Handtücher für die Sauna war etwas spärlich.....ein Handtuch ist schon etwas wenig. Und Wasser zum trinken gab es auch nicht. Leider.....

The hotel was ok, but it is one of the more disappointing experiences that I've had with regards to expectations vs. reality. The main reason I chose this hotel over other hotels in Clervaux was the spa. However, it did not live up to what the hotel website presentet. The hottub/jacuzzi was no more than a normal jacuzzi tub you find in a home. You had to fill it with water to use it and there was only cold water available. Who wants to sit in a ice cold 'hot tub'? In addition, the steam room was not included as a part of your stay, but you had to pay another 8 euros to use it. Basically the spa has a pool and sauna. Everything else costs more or wasn't functionaing as advertised. Otherwise, the breakfast was sub-par and the electricity in your room was key activated. The latter was a problem as it did not allow me to charge any of my devices while out of the room.

Nice Hotel in the city centre of Clervaux. restaurant is worth visiting, nice and friendly staff.The indoor swimming pool is good for relaxed swimming. The pool has an outdoor area with lounge chairs that we used to take a little tan.

Clervaux beste?

Vi kom på gjennomreise og sjekket inn før vi gikk en lang deilig tur opp og rundt klosteret før en fantastisk middag på hotellet. Også meget bra frokost🐥🐣

Prima hotel, centraal in Clervaux.

Prettig verblijf gehad in het hotel. De kamer was prima, wat je ongeveer kunt verwachten voor deze prijs. Het hotel is centraal gelegen en Clervaux is een prima plaats om Luxemburg te verkennen.
