Staff were very nice and helpful, rooms were spacious and even had snacks with m&ms and chips/drinks. Cleaning staff kept the room very clean and even had turn down service. This property did not have hot tub or even a heated pool, I specifically filtered That option when booking. There are no activities during the day or music, not lovely at all.

We clearly stated it was our honeymoon and it was they made no special arrangements for us, deapite asking us what we would like. Someone also tried to get us to attend a 45 minute information session (I.e. Time Share) when we specifically said we did not want to be asked that. The food and quality of the resort was not good at all.

This hotel was just what we were looking for in a relaxation get away It had great foods with different options. The pool was amazing. The beach was a short walk across the property. If you are headed here for adventure and excitement they also have a bunch of packages that take you all over transportation included. We will definitely be coming back. Also Irving at the concierge desk was the BEST super helpful and answered all the questions we had. We really enjoyed our trip.

The property looks amazing from the Lobby to the pool and the all ocean view. I came to this vacation alone stayed in The Reserve Suite Swim-Up for a week . At the beginning I got a room not clean after I saw all the dirt with the management they told me they prepare other room I waited 2 hours and they took me to the same room they try to clean but it was still not clean I waited another 2 hours to get other room finally I get the room. You have the main pool and the reserve pool out of the room, the water in the main pool are so cold compared to the reserve pool out of the room the only problem that the stuff can’t serve us in the pool in the room they not allowed that’s what they say so you need to go the main pool bar to get drinks. About the food and restaurant I loved the Bufe in the morning was amazing the stuff was really nice and friendly. About the Steakhouse restaurant I don’t recommend first if you not in the reserve area it’s not for free, if you are in the reserve area you get one dinner for free so I went to try, sitting there about 9:00pm not a lot of people in this hour , 20 minutes until someone came to take the order another a hour waiting for the steak and it was awful! recommend also about La Palapa food are good and the service (Emily was so kind). More than that most of the stuff was talking so rude to me and others in the property. Over all I don’t think I will come back to this resort not worth 5 stars .

Positives: Adults only - All Inclusive; Wonderfully friendly and accommodating staff; The food and restaurants exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful. Negatives: The Melia Rewards Program presentation left a very negative impression. The manager pressured us to make a decision within 1 hour, or the “special deal” he offered would expire. When we declined enrolling in the program we were advised we would be ineligible to enroll for the next 7 years. More pressure to take the special offer now. We declined and will consider other travel rewards programs but definitely not Melia in the future. Sals Steakhouse (the only restaurant that is not part of the All Inclusive package) was underwhelming, and the food was not worth the prices charged.

The service was excellent. Our concierge Carlos was very helpful with our dinner reservations and everything else we needed it. The rooms were in the smaller side, compare to other hotels in Cancun but it was clean and we loved having the pool right outside our room. The only suggestion I could make to the hotel is the food at the steakhouse. We were expecting a better selection and the flavor was missing on the fish of the day and short ribs. We didn’t end up finishing our food but overall, we are happy we stayed here and will recommend this hotel.

We booked this Reserve Oceanfront trip 5 months ago through Expedia. We were on the opposite side of the resort from the Reserve and our view was of the top of the Gabi restaurant. They told us Reserve is an experience, not a location. It's hard to EXPERIENCE something when it isn't convenient to get to it. Also, Oceanfront is a LOCATION. Concierge told us to book our own reservations for anything off-property due to liability. Told us to call room service for honor bar requests. We could do that on our own. Beachfront area is bombarded with vendors who approach you every 5 minutes. Property (itself) is pretty but any upgrades (especially double upgrades) aren't worth it!! Will go back to Grand Fiesta Americana where they know how to treat guests (even without the upgrades).

Loved the swimmable beach. Lots of spaces to sit and enjoy the views. The staff was very friendly and readily accessible. Didn’t like that there were only sit down dinner restaurants, and fewer lunch options. Room service made up for that but was quite a wait. Food overall was good if you ordered the right thing. Some dishes were bland but others were amazingly appetizing. If a large group comes it’s challenging to avoid them as there aren’t many entertainment options after hours. The pool was cold during our February visit, no host tubs on the property. But overall a great experience, would stay here again. We read up before visiting so we knew what to expect about dinners, cold pool, etc. so we weren’t disappointed.

Our group had a fabulous time! Pros: The property is very clean and well kept and the staff is very helpful. Definitely recommend The Reserve rooms as it comes with extra perks such as an extra pool that is heated, included airport transportation, extra lounge with premium liquor and snacks, and more. The beach is gorgeous. Plenty of cabanas and lounge chairs. Our room had robes and slippers for use, beach bag, hair dryer, coffee maker, fridge with included snacks and drinks replenished everyday. Cons: the main pool is pretty cold, but in the heat of the day once you get used to that can be refreshing. It was neat that they had a little “coffee shop” but for a resort of this caliber I would have loved to have better quality coffee, but that’s just me being picky. 🙂 Overall we loved our stay and would definitely recommend. Tips: Make sure you reserve dinner right away as availability is limited especially for a large group. Bring your cash for tips/excursions and such ahead of time because the ATM fees are outrageous. Bring sunscreen, it’s crazy expensive to purchase there.

This is a gorgeous hotel with all the perks of a 5star Hotel. However the only thing we did not like was that there was no buffet restaurant to go to for lunch and dinner. Only a la cart restaurants and you must make reservations and be there at the time they have an availability

My boyfriend and I opted for the Reserve Swim-Up and it was so great! The staff was so attentive and made us feel so comfortable during our stay. During our stay we both decided to come back and invite some friends to join us. (OR NOT, we’re coming back) The choices of the restaurants were great quality and a great variety! Staying at other all inclusive resorts can be redundant but these were high quality options.

I would highly recommend Paradisus Los Cabos! The property is beautiful and quiet! It was a perfect space for relaxing and spending time with friends. I paid 2 thousand dollars for my nephews to stay in this hotel and when they arrived in Mexico. Mexican immigration did not let them enter the country because they were Colombians. I flew from Los Angeles out and upon arriving at the hotel I told the situation and the staff told me we are not going to refund the money and they did not want to talk to me. My stay was 4 days but since I didn't like the attention I decided to fly the next day.

What we liked about the property is the fact that it is one of the few all-inclusive resorts in Cabo that allows you to swim in the adjacent oceanfront. Even though it is a roughly 1-2 minute walk down to the beach, water accessibility was huge to us. The overall condition of the property is pretty good. When it comes to the rating, for a five star rating two things were missing a bit: The gym is definitely way to small. Two treadmills (one of them being broken at that) is definitely not nearly enough. Once 6-7 people were inside the gym, this tiny room was at definitely full capacity, so you will be at the mercy of your workout timing. The other fact was the dinner service. Since there is no buffet option (which is totally fine, since made to order tastes much better and is more fresh), restaurants are booked out way in advance. You should either increase capacities, add a buffet as a safe haven option, or, as a recommendation to the guests, book your dinners a week or two in advance of your trip. The food itself is amazing, the staff is fantastic, especially in the reserve area you are being constantly treated to a server taking your next drink order or dishing out small bites and treats. This hotel is a great option for a shorter trip up to seven days if you, like us, don't leave the hotel during your all inclusive trips. You will have great food, water access, a long beach to walk, great service and a clean hotel. The size of the hotel will feel too small after that.

The cleanliness of this resort is the best I have seen. Excellent food and drinks. The staff goes out of their way to help and make you feel welcome. The rooms are bright and nicely decorated. Tonnes of chairs and daybeds at the pool and beach I could go on and on. We will be back. Staff who were particularly great were Carlos and Max at the beach and Julio the bellman who escorted us to our room. The nightly entertainment was also surprisingly great.

This is not a 5 star property. Maybe 3 star at best. Food was limited and certainly nothing special. We were a group of 7 with 4 Reserve ocean view suites. Rooms are in need of repair, AC did not work well, and there was a constant sewer smell in the bathroom. Bed was fine, but bed cover was dirty. Called housekeeping but it was never replaced. Ended up taking the cover off and just using the comforter. Entertainment was very loud at night but not good. Most of the staff was very friendly. Spend your money on a better property.

Pretty great place to stay, especially at that value. The beach front, service, pools, and overall resort was awesome. Food was pretty standard, for the most part, with two of the restaurants really standing out.

Wonderful adults only resort. Not a ton of activities but more a relaxing/chill vibe. Beautiful beach with TONS of whales right in front of the resort. (Jan/Feb) Only 30 minutes from airport. And about 15/20 minutes from San Jose and Los Cabos.
