This is this is definitely not a four-star hotel. Three star more likely.
Definitely in need of some TLC as looking somewhat tired, lots of marks on walls et cetera. Impression from how hotel looks outside is definitely is not followed inside.
Plus points
- Brilliant location just by the entrance to Greenwich Park, next door to Queen’s house etc.,
- Less than a Five minute walk from Cutty Sark /10 minute walk from Greenwich Station
- Loads of restaurants and shops within two minutes walk
- Good, helpful check in
- Very friendly and helpful receptionists
- Very comfortable bed
- breakfast is included, with hot and cold buffet which was pretty good.
Negative points
- needs some improvement as cracks showing.
- Apart from breakfast, no restaurant for lunch & dinner or room service (but you can order deliveroo)
- Had a room facing the main road, so very noisy. Motorcycles, Emergency vehicle sirens going past.. and windows are very thin (strong draft and no noise insulation)
- Seriously noisy radiator- hissing all the time
- No fridge in room
- Fairly small room
Paid 70 £ including breakfast, so not bad, and based on excellent location would stay again. However if had If paid full price - would not be happy as in that case would be poor value. It’s very annoying when hotels get a higher grade then they deserve
