Property on the whole was good but there were a few details that show a need for a bit more maintenance. Fine points like the toilet seat was not fixed in place.

The shower was terrible in my room (111) at all times of the day. The windows was closed but didn't seal properly, a lot of road buzz from outside. Overall a reasonable hotel for a reasonable price.

Hotel itself was fine, the room was clean and comfortable as were the communal areas. The thing that let it down for me was what appears to be a lack of staff. The staff were polite and helpful but when it came to our evening meal we were waiting well over an hour. Breakfast was also a disappointment as you had to wait for everything to be replenished, which took sometime. The food was ok.

Pros 1-This is a very nice hotel, and very modern. 2- great location, close to amenities. 3- friendly staff, was able to accommodate getting extra pillows covers ect. cons 1- breakfast is a little on the expensive side compared to surrounding hotels. 2- housekeeping entered our room at 7:30am and woke my children and myself up, she didnt apologise she just walked out the room, i had to go to reception to enquire who walked into our room at that time. 3- in the morning i emptied our room bin, asked housing keeping for some clean towels explained our room didnt need cleaning, when we left for the day i placed the do not disturb sign on the door, when we got back i discovered the sign on the door and personally telling the housekeeper our room did not need cleaning was disregarded.

We opted to take breakfast on our first day which we paid for cash without receipt. It had a dreadful smell in the morning overcooked sausages and undercooked bacon. Had to resort to other items such as toast !!! Bathroom facilities are poor with poor water pressure too. Linen was not changed for us despite being required (visible) showing that cleanliness is much to be desired.

Not bad considering value for money. Blood stain on bedsheet, garbages were never changed, toilet didn’t flush properly & power sockets did not work.

Overall, most aspects of the accommodation were satisfactory, but I found the bed uncomfortable, especially for someone with back pain. It would be beneficial to provide alternative options for guests with such needs. couldn't sleep at all because the bed caused severe back pain.

We originally booked 3 nights, but booked an extra night once here. Beautiful hotel, the staff are lovely and helpful. Roughly 30 minute drive to Liverpool city centre but that didn’t put us off as the drive isn’t to bad. Will definitely be returning

Room was “ready” when we arrived. So went to room hot water tap not working, tele not working,bin full of rubbish sock on the floor and other rubbish down side of the bed. Did swap our room when asked to. Second room had the window open and window ledge was soaked. So tried to close it to find the window handle on the bottom was on window ledge. Manager not apologetic just said he will have to get some one to check it out. And have a word with room service. As for evening food. Limited choice no buns but burgers blah blah blah. Breakfast was ok for £8.95 bit cold but hey you can’t have it all. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was clean and well presented but the shower room was tired with black mould visible round the shower and wash basin. The extractor fan didn't work meaning shower room was full of condensation.

We stayed here to visit Knowsley Safari Park and it was perfectly located for this, just 10 minutes away from the park. We had two rooms for 5 of us, spacious and clean (couple of stains on the carpet but nothing major) Staff were great and rooms were nice. TV had lost service in one of the rooms and Kelvin sorted this out for us, no fuss. We ate breakfast here which was good, with plenty of options, again staff were efficient when things needed refreshing. All in all a good stay.

I use the hotel when I visit a site in Knowsley - generally good but slow service with the food and the room was ok but bed side shelf was hanging off and worked needed. Other than that everything else fine.
