Where to start...The walls and doors in the room were dirty and peeling. The carpet is from 1982 as is the furniture and lighting. The door in the bathroom, where people tend to put their hands to push on the door was brown and sticky from dirt, oil and skin, you know the kind of spot I'm talking about. The beds were old fashioned spring mattress. There version of being "eco friendly" was to not provide a mat for the bathroom floor to prevent slipping and only one trash can apparently. The support bar in the shower stall pulled out of its place when I used it . The walls were thin, but the hotel is old so I understand, since this is a normal issue in hotels of this age no matter the effort of updating put in. The only good points I can give this place is the the front desk staff was decently pleasant and the location was good, otherwise this place should probably just be torn down, a renovation probably wouldn't help but for anything more the $80 a night I'd say stay somewhere else... like in your car.
