One of the most beautiful resorts I've ever been to! Peaceful, calm, serene, relaxing, luxurious. Get the sea view villa! It has the most amazing views - even from the shower! And one of the only places on Ko Samui where you can see the gorgeous sunsets (you can't do that on the East Coast in Chaweng). You don't hear your neighbours as you are in your own little paradise bubble. Very romantic if you're there with a partner, I imagine (I was on a solo trip). There were a few young families with children but they didn't make much noise at the pool. Lovely private beach (a bit stoney here and there), gorgeous infinity pool, air-con great, Wi-Fi perfect, free fun activities like yoga, cycle tour, Muay Thai class, cooking class, free beach bag & flip flops. As the resort is a bit further away from the hustle & bustle of Bophut and closer to the jungle, it does take a about a 15 min taxi ride to tourist attractions. But I chose Napasai to relax, so I was fine to stay at the resort for the first half of my Thailand trip. I enjoyed being away from large groups of tourists. Surprisingly I was not bitten by a mosquito once but I made sure to wear strong insect repellent with DEET. The resort does spray insect repellent once a week all over the grounds, so maybe that helped as well. Lastly, the resort has the most attentive staff I've come across. Friendly, helpful but also know when to leave you in peace and quiet. I highly recommend Napasai!!!

This is really the best resort we have stayed in all of our vacations. The amenities, rooms, food and especially the stuff representing the true meaning of a 5 star Thai hospitality. For our next vacation we will first search for a Belmond resort and then pick the destination:)

This resort went above and beyond with their service and the little details. We stayed in their villa and it was so peaceful, the resort had a great pool and beach area. We stayed a month in this wonderful resort on a beach front villa and absolutely loved every about Napasai resort! The villa was beautiful, food was great, access to beach and pool was terrific and the management/staff were EXCEPTIONAL from day 1 right until our departure. They were kind, considerate and always had a smile on their faces. I am a bit of a clean freak so I loved the fact that all areas of the resort (particularly the public washrooms off the pool & dining areas) were immaculate and incredibly clean. If you are looking for a place to just kick back, relax, stress free then Napasai should be on your list of places to stay! This resort is definitely a 5 Star.

I highly recommend this property. It’s beautiful, private, eco friendly, clean, and the staff is AMAZING! I do suggest the property get more charging stations (both inside and outside) for electronic devices for guests as we are all more technically connected. Also, I suggest converting the bathtub into a shower with seating.

We stayed in a one bedroom garden view villa and it was spacious enough to comfortably hold the whole family (2 adults and 2 teenagers). The villa was lovely and kept tidy each day which was wonderful. The Napasai is truly brilliant hotel, the pool is really nice, large and refreshing. The staff make the place the blessing it is though - every single person is dedicated to making your stay effortless

The setting is beautiful including a wonderful sunset view. The sea isn’t great for swimming as it’s very shallow and lots of weed - I knew this would be the case before we went so it wasn’t a problem. The accommodation is a bit dated but didn’t seem shabby.

AMAZING!! 5* hotel through and through!
I recently stayed at this hotel on a 10 day trip to Thailand with my boyfriend. We had an amazing stay and can't recommend it enough. The grounds and scenery are beautiful, the facilities were well kept, and the room was clean and updated. The food was good and the activities that the hotel had to offer were great. They have kayaks and standup paddle boards right there on the grounds and an attending staff member, as well as workout classes. The hotel is located on a beautiful private beach. The most distinguished part of the hotel was the service, which impressed us from the start. Upon arrival, the woman mentioned that our flight was a bit delayed, as we were late arriving to the hotel by ~30 minutes, which impressed us she remembered. We received an upgrade from our original room to a 1 bedroom villa on the beach which made our vacation! The luxury of the hotel continued as we arrived in our room to a plate of fresh fruit and we were also impressed with the service we received on the beach. Our waiter walked down the beach in the 98 degree heat to offer to clean our sunglasses and then again to offer us apple slices. That is service unlike any other we've received. To top off our wonderful stay, upon check in the woman had asked when our departing flight was and then provided a recommendation to leave for the airport at 6:30am, prior to the opening of breakfast at 7am. When we went to check out, the hotel had prepared us breakfast boxes "to go".

Superb hotel
I have stayed in many hotels in Thailand (W hotel, Oriental, Hyatt, So Sofitel and many more) nothing like Belmond Napasai. The room is nice and clean, With the private and infinity pool, one can spend the whole day in the hotel. Breakfast is super good especially the view is fantastic. The homemade jam is a must try. So much so about the hotel. What really amazing is the friendliness of the hotel staff and every staff we met can remember by our name ( not sure how they do it). I must say that the service provided by the staff name of PIM in the restaurant is way above average. She chat with guest and listened. My Friend was having a fever and went back to the room early. She immediately called to send him some tea and cold towel. We were very impressed with her service as well as the rest of the staff. Thank you so much for taking care of us and we will definitely come again. We will also recommend to family and friends.

The perfect beach resort hotel
It comes at a price but its worth paying it! It's a fab hotel which is superbly managed and maintained directly at a lovely private beach with a swimming platform anchored offshore. The villas are beautifully decorated in Thai style and offer all the amenities one can wish for. The breakfast in the hotel is awesome with the best selection is tropical fruits one can wish for. Please sample the juice and smoothie bar as well. Fantastic staff both at the restaurant as well as at the beach. Plenty of free activities for the whole family on offer. We tried the Thai boxing (awesome experience), food carving, flower arrangements and also the free training sessions on Thai massage. As with all the great places its no longer a secret hideaway which when fully booked gets quite busy and noisy.

It was by far the most luxurious and beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff tends to your every need. So relaxing!

Nice hotel but could use an ugrade
Very nice beachfront villa with semi-private garden. Staff was friendly and service was good. The local area was not pleasant. The wood floors inside were too creaky, if someone awoke at night, everyone was up. All the plugs were a bit old and loose and not enough of them.

Lovely hotel and staff!
Staff were very helpful and friendly. They tried their best to accommodate our request. View is very nice from the breakfast area, pool and seaview villa. Must try dinner in the beachfront restaurant (at the beach).

Gorgeous resort
The Belmond Napasai is an absolutely beautiful resort, the kind of place that is so lovely you don't want to leave. Rather than hotel rooms guests are in spacious individual villas, decorated in traditional Asian style, most of which have views of the ocean. It is equally good for couples as for families with children. Wifi is good throughout the resort.

Swimming is my highlight
Wonderful resort hotel. The beach was better than I expected according to the negative reviews about small and un-swim-able. I swam every day! beach shoes were there for me. I usually wear my goggles so I can see where I am. It was delightful. Gorgeous infinity pool for all. Smiling wonderful staff. Just ask for vegetarian. They are totally willing. Massages are pricey at hotel. But all is available in the city at a fraction of the price.

Belmond was excellent! Staff extremely helpful. Breakfasts and evening thematic dinners were of very good quality. Prices of hotel services were adequate to the quality of 5star hotel. In case you would like to help your budget go to near massage and close restaurant just 7 mins walking distance. Marek
