Checkin was easy, staff friendly, room was a good size, very clean and modern. The lobby and decor was modern and appealing. Free breakfast was great! Lots of space for people. The little kitchenette space was very functional and there was good closet space. Washroom was a good size, clean, and updated. Bed was very comfortable and linens good quality. Furniture modern and clean. Definitely will stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel.

I didn't like the orientation of room,upon entry bed was on right side of room.I prefer bed on the left side. Did not care for "omelets"not everyone enjoys onions & peppers in their eggs,cheese on the other hand would be great.Bacon to sausage ratio was good. Wasn't impressed with items getting low and not being tended to in a timely manner.All ice makers were out of order.

Renovated rooms are very well appointed and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed and good desk area and reliable wifi for working. Convenient free parking. Eggs on breakfast buffet were inedible. Very dry and crumbly. Thankfully the rest of the buffet and coffee selection was very good.

Renovations are going well,room was beautiful. Ice maker was not working on my floor,again. This was my second stay,both times ice maker was out of order...it's the little things. Bacon three of four breakfasts,thank you for that. All in all a good stay.

We have stayed a few times here. Rooms are clean and have everything you need for an overnight stay. Plenty of restaurants in the area within walking distance, and lots of free parking. Breakfast is great too!

The room was newly renovated and the bed was very comfortable. The washroom was clean and was beautifully designed. The dining area was beautiful and the food options were great. Good breakfast! I would stay there again and I would highly recommend the hotel to others.

Hotel was under renovation. Stayed on the 6th floor. The room was beautiful. It was just opened up 2 weeks ago. Very modern, very nice. Still under construction as they fix up the rest of the hotel and the kinks, but great value for the money!

Staff is very professional and accommodating. My stay was during construction that had no impact to my stay. The people working here are long term and genuinely care about your experience. I stay here on average 6x per year for that last 4 years for work. It is well priced. I drive out of my way to stay here (15 km) despite my factory is 300m away from St. Jacob’s market…

Toilet wouldn’t flush only way to get it flashed was to take the lid off and put your hand in the back of the toilet And lift on the leaver in the water… the bathroom door would not close at all and I stood in 6 inches of water when having a shower.. if I knew they were doing Reno’s I wouldn’t of booked it.. I do not get away very often and for me to pay $150 for a room and not be able to relax or use a working bathroom was very upsetting.

We enjoy staying here each time we visit Kitchener. It is near the 401 and far enough out of downtown. The place is getting renovated. We happened to get a renoed room on the 6th floor. Clean new edges about the room and the fridge/coffee is now off in a side nook. BIG TV and new pillow tops, what else do you need. One drawback for us was the tub. (we hope for walk ins…). Lastly friendly staff, some who have been there for all our visits.

Beds are super uncomfortable and the pillows are awful. They feel like they’ve disintegrated over time. They feel ancient. No covers on them. The rest is fine but even though parts of the hotel is under construction the bedding should still be hotel grade and it is so far from that.

This is a tired hotel - they are renovating. The heating system is so noisy it's hard to sleep. It ran all night but we froze. There were only two choices. Freeze or roast. The restaurant breakfast is just plain awful. Burnt eggs. I do want to stress that that the staff were really nice.
