I had a very bad experience this time while staying in "Oyo Rooms" at Hotel Malik Residency, 80 feet road Kanpur. At the time of check in on 8th August 2015, I clearly told the manager at the reception that I had booking under Oyo Rooms and had made the full payment through credit card. He then allowed me to check in. But at the time of check out, he asked me to pay the hotel bill. At this, I showed him the booking confirmation mail as sent by Oyo rooms and Hotel.com website.But he refused to settle and asked me either to make the payment or ask either Oyo Rooms or Hotel.com to transfer the payment to them. It was so embarassing to get stopped by hotel manager at the reception while my cab was waiting for me outside. I again and again confirmed him by talking to customer care but that guy did not allowed me to exit. After around 40-45 minutes when he get some email or net confirmation then he allowed me to exit. Further, when I told him that he should have make such arrangement before hand, he replied that it is not their problem and questioned me as to why I had booked the rooms through such website which has no reputation... It was very pathetic and disgusting.
