We had some problems for the tv that they could not fix. Staff is really helpful. Breakfast buffet was good. They helped you a lot at front desk with attractions and getting around. It was close to major sites.

Great View But
Very nice view of Sea of Marmara near entrance to the Bosporus. But noise from the bar and restaurant directly above kept me awake until 04:00. And jacuzzi bathtub advertised in the Hotels.com listing could not be used because of leaks (it appears this was a long-term problem).

Definitely a good stay at Artefes!
Excellent Value for location and accommodations. Also the staff are super helpful. The morning/day staff spoke English very well, while evening staff were less so but still very energetic to help. The breakfast and upstairs terrace are really good, very surprised at this. The rooms are good value.. The beds are okay, though a small update for the pillows would be much appreciated. Cleanliness very good and again the staff... wow, really found the staff to be awesome.

Overall, I was happy with my stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location was great and the free breakfast with a view was a plus. Three areas of improvement: I wouldn’t liked to have had a light blanket provided instead of just a sheet. The above shower head didn’t work and the handheld shower piece didn’t fit into the holder, so I had to either hold it with one hand and wash my hair with the other, or try to balance it so I could use two hands to wash my hair, but then it would always fall. Also, the TV didn’t work. I would’ve liked to have caught up on some news.

Excellent stay for cheap travelling couple
We are a couple that prioritizes a clean room and a location close to the action, and this did not disappoint! The staff were incredibly helpful in helping us organize a taxi back to the airport (which was cheaper than the bus they have available) as well as arranging a fun river cruise. Though the lock on the door was wobbly and there was a strange yellow substance around the doorframe in the washroom (it looked liked someone forgot to clean up after the renovations) overall it was perfect for our trip! Breakfast was lovely also, and was served by friendly staff. Different foods were available on different days, and it was so much fun to try different Turkish dishes.

Fanden es Preis Leistung gesehen extrem gut. Sehr komfortabeles Zimmer und groß. Gute Auswahl beim Frühstück und Kaffee hat sehr gut geschmeckt aus der Maschine. Top war außerdem die mehr oder weniger versteckte Dachterrasse mit wunderschönen Ausblick.

Stayed here for 2 nights with family & extended family (cousins). The hotel is old, our room had a faint smoke even though they ensured us it was a non smoking room. Bearable. The shower's are very impractical as there is a shower head but its not connected to the water supply and the place to put soaps was broken in our room however the one in my cousins was not. This was the case for both rooms we booked. The location of this hotel is not great considering its in an alley way on a hill, difficult to commute to after a full day of sightseeing and shopping. By far the worst hotel management, its own by two cousins if I recall correctly. Salman, presumably the manager ensured us we can keep our luggage at the hotel for a few days and they have a luggage storage area. However on our day of checking out, the owner was at the reception and denied everything. As they dont have a luggage storage area and dont keep guests luggage. These mixed messages by the hotel management put out trip in turmoil as we needed to a place to keep our luggage somewhere safe for a few days while we toured other parts of Turkey. Anyways, the breakfast was subpar, mostly just a combination of several different appetizers not a turkish breakfast. At this price point there are why better 3 star hotels in this area. TLDR; Old hotel, inconvenient location, meh breakfast, terrible management and service.

HELLO, I WAS REALLY SHOCKED WHEN I READ THIS REVIEW, IT DOES NOT BE SUITABLE FOR YOU.I WISH YOU WOULD WRITE YOUR TOTAL NUMBER OF LUGGAGE IN THE MEASUREMENT, HE SAID THAT YOU CAN LEAVE A FEW OF OUR LUGGAGES HERE THAT YOU WOULD NOT STAY WITH US ON YOUR RETURN AND YOU REQUESTED IT. AND LET'S LOOK AT YOUR LUGGAGE NUMBER, WAS 20 I CAN'T REMEMBER THE NUMBER, BUT I BELIEVE YOU HOLD AN EXTRA VEHICLE FOR THAT LUGGAGE You did not want to leave your luggages by a fee.Sultanahmet is on the top of a hill, if you do not choose to stay inside the Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet Mosque. Walking for 5-6 minutes is good for your health. You said you stayed for 2 days, you didn't have breakfast on the first day and you said that breakfast was terrible in one day, very funny. I'm sure you deserve more luxurious breakfasts. Because even 5 minutes walking is difficult for you, you probably live in the palace.:)
