Hotel environment is very nice. Friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient to go to restaurants and beaches nearby. The hotel even prepared a breakfast pack for us because we have to check out at 6am! Thumbs up!!

Enjoyed our stay thoroughly. So nice to be within walking distance of everything. Lovely pool. Kind staff. I have a problem walking, so must add that there is a very steep entrance down into hotel. And steps everywhere. This is Ikaria and everything involves being built into cliffs etc.

We have been returning to Erofili for many years. Wonderful location overlooking the sea. The most relaxed hotel, and wonderful unobtrusive staff who want you to have a relaxing holiday.

Very nice hotel, close to beach, excellent staff
Very nice and clean hotel with many amenities, like a swimming pool, and fantastic sea-view. It is connected to one of the 2 beaches of Armenistis by a paved path, a 3 min. walk. Staff were very helpful. The breakfast buffet with a variety of everything you can imagine. Highly recommendable!

Hotel met prachtig uitzicht
Goed georganiseerd hotel, vriendelijk personeel, voorzien van zwembad met buitenbar, sauna waar je op afspraak gebruik van kunt maken. Vanuit het hotel loop je via de rotsen naar een trapje waar je direct de zee in kunt. De zonsopgang en ondergang is prachtig en iedere dag weer te bewonderen vanuit je kamer of de veranda. Ruim voldoende keuze aan restaurants op loopafstand en heb je een auto dan kun je ook verschillende stranden bezoeken in de buurt.

Lovely staff are the outstanding feature here
First impressions are good with attractive exterior and walking through reception onto the terrace the stunning view awaits guests. We had a room without sea view terrace (our choice based on cost) but it was very dark and had a horrid little outside "terrace" with no chairs or table due to lack of space and there was no privacy. Lighting had to be on more than would normally be expected but it was still dark! Small, claustrophobic bathroom although bedroom was big. Decent shower. We had to use a torch to see safe code due to the location of the safe and fridge in the wardrobe which had no light near it. Avoid room 210! Useless wi-fi. Breakfast fairly basic. Tables and chairs ridiculously squashed together and too many wasps to sit outside on terrace. The hotel has something of a dated feel about it and could be so much better. Felt we were watched in and out all the time.

Trevlig personal!
Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Saltvattenspool och några trappsteg ner till turkost klippbad. Wi-fi, luftkonditionering och frukost. Skulle tro att detta är det lyxigaste hotellet på Ikaria. Om du letar efter hemtrevligt mys finns det nog andra ställen. Men vill du ha bekvämlighet och ett bra läge så är det perfekt!

安いプランで申し込み、当日価格１拍分で５泊とまれました！！ 部屋は離れのようなところで、多分一番悪い場所だと思いますが、庭テラスも有りプールと海も見えたし、部屋もシャワー室も広く快適に過ごせました(≧▽≦)

Η διαμονή σε γενικές γραμμές, ήταν καλή. Η εξυπηρέτηση, ήταν πολύ καλή καθώς επίσης και η καθαριότητα. Το πρωινό δεν είχε μεγάλη ποικιλία, αλλά όλα ήταν φρέσκα και παραδοσιακά προϊόντα. Το δωμάτιο όμως, ήταν μικρό και δεν είχε ηχομόνωση, καθώς ο τοίχος ολόκληρου του διαδρόμου του ορόφου ήταν από γυψοσανίδα, με αποτέλεσμα να ακούγονται τα πάντα, πόρτες που κλείνουν, καζανάκια, ομιλίες, φωνές και γενικά ότι γινόταν έξω από το δωμάτιο. Επίσης, κάποιο βράδυ αργά, διαπίστωσα ότι δεν είχε ζεστό νερό στο μπάνιο.

Fantastic view. Good hotel for Ikaria standards
Fantastic view. The rooms are quite basic but sufficient. The aircondition works well, which was important for us. Lots of mosquitos on this island (not a hotel issue). The staff were great, very accommodating and helpful. We stayed with two young kids and they gave us the largest room that fit two extra twin beds and a crib. The extra twin beds looked like they were part of the room and otherwise used as day beds, not sure, else the room would have been even more spacious!

Από τις καλύτερες επιλογές της Ικαρίας
Η επιλογή του Αρμενιστή και του ξενοδοχείου ΕΡΩΦΙΛΗ ήταν ιδανική. Ήσυχη περιοχή, κοντά στο κέντρο και στην παραλία (αν και υπάρχει πισίνα). Προσεγμένο πρωϊνό για όλα τα γούστα. Φιλικό και εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό. Το δωμάτιό μας δυστυχώς δεν είχε θέα τη θάλασσα.

Serene and friendly
Service was top notch. Super friendly an super helpful. The AC was down during our stay which made for hot nights but I have no hesitation recommending this hotel for couples looking for a quiet getaway. It's far from the airport certainly not the 23 K advertised by hotels.com - they need to fix that in the description as it's misleading but not the hotels fault.

Excellent hotel and staff extremely friendly
The island of Ikaria is a beautiful island with some stunning scenery (probably the best out of a large number of Greek islands that I've visited). There are some superb places to eat and if one ever get's a chance then try a couple of Taverna's in both Armenistis (Mary Mary's, Delfini etc) and Nas (Anna's....outstanding home cooked food). Recommendation is to hire a car (cost of taxi's can be a tad steep) and watch out for the challenging roads as they can quickly turn from tarmac to just a rough track (might be worth upgrading to 4x4 jeep/car). Don't forget to visit the natural/wild hot springs just before Agios Kirikos (South side of the port). There are some spectacular views from within the mountains but watch out for those roads.

Très joli hôtel , bon petit déjeuner.
Nous avions loué une chambre avec vue sur la mer, mais à notre arrivée la chambre était en bas avec vue sur un mur, et chaufferie à côté. Nous avons demandé une autre chambre, mais cela n'était pas possible. Nous sommes restés la nuit dans cette chambre, et le lendemain on nous a proposé une maison dans le village pour nous. Cela nous a convenu, le confort était moindre, mais l'espace très bien, et nous étions dans le village avec vue sur la mer. Nous disposions des services de l'hôtel : petit déjeuner, piscine... Cela n'aurait pas convenu à tous, car nous n'étions plus dans l'hôtel.

Μείναμε τέλη Αυγούστου για έξι μέρες (5 διανυκτερεύσεις),ζευγάρι με παιδάκι 4 ετών.Η τοποθεσία όπου βρίσκεται το ξενοδοχείο είναι υπέροχη.Η εξυπηρέτηση από το προσωπικό ικανοποιητική.Το δωμάτιο ήταν όπως είχε συμφωνηθεί αρχικώς κατά τη κράτηση χωρίς θέα, ευρύχωρο πλήν όμως το μπαλκόνι ήταν 1Χ1,5 όπου μόλις και μετά βίας χώραγε στριμωχτά ένα τραπέζι με δύο καρέκλες σκηνοθέτη και υπήρχε και απλώστρα σε αυτό τον χώρο!Επίσης ήταν δίπλα στα πλυντήρια,με συνεχή θόρυβο και στο δήθεν μπαλκόνι υπήρχε συνεχής ροή νερού από τον σωλήνα της αποχέτευσης!Όταν ζητήσαμε αλλαγή δωματίου,μας προσφέρθηκε ένα δίκληνο με θέα,αντί για το τρίκληνο που είχαμε,πολύ μικρότερο και μάλιστα με 15 ευρώ διαφορά για κάθε διανυκτέρευση,πράγμα που σαφώς απορρίψαμε.Το πρωινό ήταν μέτριο,χωρίς επιλογή καφέ πέρα από γαλλικό,που συνήθως ήταν κρύος και φραπέ,ενώ μια φορά που παραγγείλαμε καπουτσίνο μας τον χρέωσαν 3,50 ευρώ!Η καθαριότητα του δωματίου ήταν καθημερινή,χωρίς αλλαγή σεντονιών και πετσετών μπάνιου,πράγμα που εμείς οι ίδιοι ζητήσαμε να γίνει μετά από τέσσερις μέρες διαμονής!Σε καμία περίπτωση δεν δικαιολογείται η χρέωση διανυκτέρευσης για Ικαρία.

Prettig en goed hotel op schitterende locatie
Gezellig en prettig hotel met vriendelijk personeel en goede kamers. De kamers zijn van alle gemakken voorzien. We hadden vanaf ons ruime balkon een mooi uitzicht over de baai richting Gialiskari. Een goed verzorgd en lekker ontbijt wordt geserveerd op een ruim terras met ook weer dat heerlijke uitzicht over de baai. Het hotel heeft een mooi zwembad met lekkere houten ligbedden. Twee mooie stranden op loopafstand. Vanuit het hotel loop je direct het kleine maar gezellig plaatsje Armenistis in.

friendly hotel in beautful location
The Erofili is a lovely hotel that is well maintained with a very friendly staff. It's not fancy - but it is certainly the nicest hotel available on the island. I enjoyed my 8 day stay there very much.

Breathtaking Sea Views! Great outdoor pool too!
Best sea view with beautiful verandas, access to the beach and the rocks within minutes on foot. Fantastic and charming staff that totally catered to our needs and a wonderful breakfast.

Room with a view!
Wow!! What a great experience and location. We spent 14 glorious pre-season days at the hotel, and could not have asked for a more relaxing vacation. Our room, with a balcony overlooking the sea, was simple but spotless and inviting, with a view that alone was worth the trip. We can't say enough about the easy access to the beach and swimming in the Mediterranean just off the rocks below the hotel. And the hotel's salt-water pool was fantastic too!! The staff - helpful and friendly, made our stay quite memorable and we look forward to staying at Erofili again.

We had an enjoyable stay.
We swam in the salt water pool and in the ocean.The beach was nearby.Breakfast was great! The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms and the facility are well maintained. The deck is a good size.

The bathroom and bedroom are fine but could do with updating. Considering this is a three star hotel in a fabulous location I would recommend it.

Great location, fantastic views
This hotel is in a fantastic position with stunning views. It is within easy walking distance of a beach and plenty of restaurnts. The staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful indeed, sorting out a couple of ferry and other transport problems that we had with efficiency and going a step further than they needed to. The room was large and airy with a huge balcony/patio. Our one complaint would be that the room was not cleaned as well as it should have been in that the floor had obviously not been mopped between clients. We would, however, recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Reposant et paisible
L'hôtel est situé à l'entrée du village d'Armenistis. C'est très pratique pour aller faire des courses, se rendre au restaurant, louer des véhicules ou prendre le bus quand il passe. Le personnel est très sympathique et disponible. Les chambres de l'hôtel ont leur propre balcon, qui donne directement sur la mer. La piscine d'eau de mer est très agréable et les plages sont facilement accessibles à pied. Le petit-déjeuner est basique mais correct. Seul point négatif : le fait de devoir prendre un taxi très couteux à partir de l'aéroport pour regagner l'hôtel, qui est à l'autre bout de l'ile (l'hôtel ne prévoit aucune navette).

Erofili Beach Hotel
Lovely hotel - friendly staff. Clean room with fantastic view from the balcony looking over two bays with a small chapel on a headland beyond.

Best little hotel on Ikaria
The pictures don't lie, Erofili really is perched right above a breathtakingly blue corner of the Agean sea. We spent 5 days here and loved every minute. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Armenistis village, with many dining options. The pool is salt-water and lovely. The beach is just a few steps away but we almost never went! Between the pool and a private little spot to bathe in the sea (accessible from the rocks below only to hotel guests) there was no need. There is a beautiful dining-room / terrace but unfortunately the only meal they serve is breakfast (though you can order a delicious Greek salad poolside for lunch). The staff was attentive and friendly. The rooms are clean though a little too spartan for my taste but I'm told this is pretty much standard in the smaller islands. Make sure you get a room with a balcony facing the sea. Overall I think this is one of the best spots in Ikaria and definitely number 1 in Armenistis.
