Newly Married - last klidless weekend before schoo

The building and rooms are outdated, for a very modest amount of money(re-caulk bathrooms, upgrade flooring, replace towels and linens etc) this place could be a hidden gem. The parking lot was cleanish, it was very low-key and quiet overnight, the on-site manager, Stephen was very polite and attentive; he went out of his way to get up some more towels and pillows. I also like the key/card wireless doors. Much easier and more secure then most other hotels.

Wouldn't recommend.

Found a bug in the bed, handle was hanging off the nightstand, holes in the couch and the bed sheets. The morning after our stay, my friends car wouldn't start so he called the front desk to let them know and asked if it'd be okay that we checked out a few minutes after 11 and the guy said "oh no, I can't do that. you can wait in the front office" and was at our door waiting at 11. we got a jump and we're pulling off by 11:04. just 4 minutes... really?

I was truly surprised about the cleanliness of the place for a cheap hotel and the size of the room was amazing, check-in and checkout were very smooth and took almost no time

The room we got STUNK! If we had been staying for any length of time other than basically just a few hours to sleep, I would have asked for a change of room. I guess it was a smoking room, which wasn't what I requested, and the comforters on the beds had cigarette burn holes all over them. The sink area had burn marks where people had left cigarettes burning. The first time we stayed here I really had no complaints, but I was pretty disgusted with the room this time.

We're sorry your room did not meet your standards but be aware you did order a smoking room. I just double checked your reservation because I know that at the time we received your reservation that was the only double available. Perhaps it could have been better suited but it was a smoking as reservation indicated. Steve G.M.
