Nice hotel near subway
The hotel is close to MRT. Nice and clean room, I didn’t expected that the hotel has provided a mobile phone to use outside also. Staffs were nice and helpful.

Great location
Great location. Only a couple minutes walk from the MTR station. Complementary minibar is a plus. Spacious and comfortable room although the cleaning could use some improvement. The room is generally clean but you could see dust in many areas such as night stands. Breakfast is okay.

This is a serviced apartment building, not a hotel. Good for long trips if you want to do your own laundry, but not good for short business trips since they don't have room service and the external laundry service takes 3 days.

The property is located near the financial center and once we figured our way around we found the metro station nearby. The staff did not understand us and there were no maps of the area. The backing of our curtains were ripped and need to be replaced. Housekeeping was very good and the suite was comfortable.

Difficult to locate as located within meandering side streets and as surrounded by tall buildings everywhere, pinpointing on google map difficult. Location seemed a little on the derelict side. Didn’t feel safe walking back late at night. Charged HKD500 as deposit which wasn’t made aware prior to booking on Expedia. Queries staff at check-in, but was just told this is how they do it and if I wanted clarification, I needed to take it up with booking agent.The money has already been charged on my card. Am awaiting to see if it will be refunded. Complimentary beverages turned out to be two bottles of cheap soft drinks which other hotels would’ve given for free anyway. No room upgrade - was told already booked the best. Could’ve at least given a room on taller floor. Room smelled stuffy and unused for a long time. Not sure if it was cleaned prior to checking in.

2ème séjour dans cet hôtel. Le premier a été parfait. Le deuxième a mal commencé car réservé et payé à l’avance chambre exécutif pour 3 adultes via hôtels.com. Au check in, on me demande de payer un lit d’appoint pour la 3ème personne. Ce qui augmentait le prix de 50%. Après réclamation auprès de Mercer et de hôtels.com qui se rejettent la faute. Mercer decide exceptionnellement de ne pas me charger le lit d’appoint.

The location was perfect. Close to the subway system and great restaurants and bakery's. We visited a near by bakery almost daily for their pork buns and sandwiches. The location was also close to a couple local gay bars that had really good happy hour.

Great Location and Nice & Clean Hotel!
This is an amazing hotel located in the heart of Hong Kong Island. I would definitely recommend this hotel with it convenience to many local attractions as well as the MTR train. Everything is within walking distance of the hotel and it is just a short 2 blocks from the train station. I think many are intimidated by the location in not knowing but this is well suited for business or pleasure. As I participated in the morning breakfasts ... I found this to be a nice luxury being from the US and saved on the time of finding something to eat each morning. I will recommend a place a block away called the Brew Brothers for some amazing coffee though! I used the gym each morning as well. It is smaller with limited equipment but I can't complain as I was the only one in there. There are several restaurant located very close to the hotel to eat at, but we did find comfort in the Canteen located right across the street from the hotel for a beer and some fries or wings late at night.

This Hotel Is A Must!
The reception staff were second to none at Citadenes Mercer, from checking in and allowing us to have our room hours before the check in time ( we had been up for 24 hours so we were more than happy!! ) to giving us great tips on places to visit and carrying our heavy bags out to the taxi on our departure. The hotel room itself was scrupulously cleaned and replenished daily and the room was so quiet unlike many others I’ve stayed in as there’s only 2 rooms per floor. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough for the money. Not 5 star but for a small hotel in a fantastic ‘ real Hong Kong ‘ location, this place is way more than value for money!

Fair
nice 1 nite stay. the room is bit dated but in general it is acceptable and clean. the sofa in the dining room is odd and does not fit the room in terms of style. Breakfast buffet choices are limited but the quality is fair.
