It was cheap and cheerful. There was quite a lot of noise in the night and the breakfast service was late starting.

Taps barely worked, shower pressure not great with the temperature being unstable. Left my partners cap in the hotel, and seems like this has possibly been taken by a member of the housekeeping team. Not the best location. It is however at least clean, and the rooms are okay. Wouldn’t recommend overall.

Great customer service. Room is on the small side - as described - which is perfect if staying a couple of nights and need a safe place to sleep. Place is clean, and very accessible.

Small double very cosy and comfortable...well appointed with everything you need. Reception staff lovely...nice welcome when you arrive and very helpful. Good hearty breakfast.

Close to station, library and theatres. Warm rooms but fan provided. Bed reasonably comfy with good pillows. Tea/ coffee facilities in the room. Staff friendly. Express check in quick and easy. Easy to walk to main areas.

Hotel op 10 min lopen van treinstation Piccadilly.Na vriendelijke check-in kwam ik op een schone kamer.Verwacht geen luxe maar prijs/kwaliteit staat zeker in verhouding.Ontbijt is uiteraard erg Engels maar om de dag te starten prima.Op klein kwartiertje lopen sta je in het centrum van Manchester.Via hotel voor 28£ met taxi richting airport.

The room we were given was baking hot as the afternoon sun came in through the window and the room had no air conditioning. At about 9:30 pm an alarm went off in our room, it may have been a smoke alarm. Regardless, there was no smoke and I had to get out of bed and walk to the reception desk to get it fixed. I was charged VAT on my evening meal, which is illegal in the United Kingdom.

Valuta for pengene.
Ikke noe å si på dette hotellet. Det er et trestjerners hotell og leverer nettopp det de skal. Det ser greit ut, engelsk frokost, god kaffe. Hyggelig personale. Noe slitt, litt vel slitent gulvbelegg. Lite rom med lite bad. Men det helt i stil med pris og stjerner. Her er det helt topp å bo. Og det henger en pendel inne i Pendulum.

Room freezing cold because wall radiator not working for all 3 nights. Single bed ~ not illustrated here – far too small with tight tiny duvet that let in the cold all round once body is inside! Shower floor treacherously slippery. Language limitations at front desk where solutions were limited at the weekend. Small heater and second (though used) duvet supplied on request.

Poor Service
The hotel was everything I expected the only thing was disappointing was when we went to eat on Friday night we were told they were not doing food for guests because they had Christmas parties if I had been informed beforehand I would have cancelled my stay even the reception didn’t know this was happening Best thing we were given a 20% off voucher we couldn’t use The reception staff were excellent

City visit
This is just what you would expect from a city hotel. Room was small but perfect for one night.Helpfull, friendly staff and we had a very nice evening meal and breakfast. Ideally situated to go the theatre.

Great hotel to stay after theatre visit. Reasonable price (Manchester hotels are so expensive now), clean and well maintained. Lovely big towels and the Pendulum is wonderful! Good breakfast, frequently replenished. Only downsides were slightly slow clearing of breakfast tables and shower not very powerful, though quite adequate.

Very good stay here, local to all you need around Manchester as we came from London this was by far the better location to get around only thing is that if you want space compact rooms are not ideal as they are very small so not alot of space, but only room available but still managed it with no problem very good stay here

Centralt beliggende hotel
Centralt beliggende hotel, centrum nås til fods på under 20 minutter. Det eneste jeg savnede var sengelampwr, så jeg kunne læse i sengen.

use the hotel for business trip to university of manchester. second time after the first use of the hotel in 2018. location of the hotel is good for uom visit. breakfast was not bad, typical english breakfast buffet. the hotel is old, room is very small. had some issues with hair drier but solved issues after couple of visits to the reception.

Hi Sungmoon,Thank you for that feedback, if you do require a larger room during your stay, I might recommend the "double classic" as it provideds more space, a bath tub with a shower and additional storage.

Comfy Stay
Great stay. Clean and comfy. Limited plug sockets (2 girls getting ready). Walls could do with freshening up, but ultimatly our stay was good. We paid extra for breakfast and some things had ran out, but we did arrive 15mins before it ended (staff visiably annoyed) and we were asked to leave 15 mins after breakfast had stopped serving. Maybe helpful to make it clear you have to have eaten and gone by 11. We would stay again and have breakfast somewhere else 😊
