This is not a 4 star hotel. It is misleading to labeled it as such. The rooms are adated and you know that dated smell from an old property..Yes you smell that. Plus twice they knocked on my door before check out time. The second was telling. The manager said she wants to know if the room was clean...lol. I said to myself of course it is the kind of thing you expect from a 2 star hotel not a 4 star one but the Mecure name gives it that borrowed credibility. To be fair it is not far from terminal 5 so might work if your stay is short and not for relaxation.

We didn’t realize how long it would take to get to the airport and that the Heathrow Hoppa didn’t stop at this hotel. The drains in the hotel room didn’t work fully, so shower was very short! We will at the airport next time to avoid spending money on cabs!

I usually stay in a premier inn before my flight. Unfortunately they were booked up. I have stayed in multiple Mercure hotels in the past and the rooms have been very nice, this room however was shocking. The radiator was on full blast with a plug in radiator also on full blast. I obviously unplugged the plug in, then I went to turn the AC on and that was the oldest looking thing I’ve seen. It hardly worked. The bathroom was disgusting, dirty tiles and chunks of plastic missing from the bath. It smelled really damp in the bathroom. Also the plug didn’t work in the bath. I would never stay again

I am disgusted by our stay in the Mercure Heathrow. The car park is terrible with broken machinery and water leaking everywhere. The corridors smell of sewage and have lots of flies and empty food containers. The room was ok except the bed was very uncomfortable and creaked everytime I moved which meant I didn't sleep well. Breakfast was crowded and the food was awful for a vegetarian. The food was over cooked on the outside and undercooked on the inside. Staff weren't interested and never asked if we were happy with our stay.

The hotel room was dirty, expected more from a Marriott hotel, and for £70. The car park was full of mouldy mattresses. Air con until was broken. The toilet seat was not attached to the toilet. Overall experience was poor

Dirty hotel no water was running in our rooms hotel is very dated they couldnt find my booking on the system i booked again to show i did book it they said they will refund it but it still didnt show on the system i was waiting for ages to just check in to then check in to a room with a broken sink and no remote along with it being very cold

ホテルの周りは小さい売店が2〜３軒ありますが、郊外で夜は人通りが少なかったので必要なものは空港で買ってから向かった方が良いと思います。 ひとりで1泊しましたがホテルの部屋は広く水まわりも清潔で、ベッドも寝心地よかったです。部屋の中にインスタントコーヒー&紅茶もあり朝食もビュッフェ形式でおいしかったです！

After our previous visit , we have noticed the hotel has really gone down hill. Leaks in the hallway and our room. Poor condition.

Hotel staff were not helpful. No information given on check in for hotel amenities. No details on Wi-Fi or check out times or breakfast. No information in the room regarding this either. The room was dirty with crumbs in my bed. The bathroom radiator had electrical cables hanging out. On check out- I was ignored by staff as they were having a disagreement over something. Over all a terrible stay which is a shame as I have always rated mercure-my advice - stay in the premier inn a few yards away

Staff were welcoming and friendly, and very well turned out. My key stopped working and the person at the desk was apologetic and helpful when they fixed it. The room next to ours had put their finished room service things out in the corridor and there was a broken wine glass leaving bits of glass on the floor. It was still there the next morning. The room was mostly clean though the towel rail had what looked like drips of rust and it made me not want to use it. There was no plug in the sink and there was tissue stuck down it which wasn't pleasant. There was also no socket next to one bed. I found the floors to be a bit creaky, but for a London hotel, I was impressed that there was no noise at all from outside. The windows did a great job! Breakfast was tasty and staff were on top of stocking it up. I was staying with my 9 year old, and she was very impressed and declared it a very fancy hotel.

The Safe was inside a cupboard which we couldn’t open as it was blocking the side of the bed. The bed mattress needs replacing as rolling into the middle.

On arriving I was told the room I booked wasn't available. The room I was given was very cold, the staff member said he would get me a heater. He didnt. I went to reception, was then given a new room. This was better but the window didnt close so was very noisy as near the motorway. Someone them smashed a wine glass outside my room door. The person was very drunk and abusive. Not a good experience.

Room had no heating, wasn’t the best condition. New room slightly better. One of the towel’s had two big stains that looked like could have been blood. Not a comfortable stay, staff were not helpful.

Very Dated, Run on a skeleton crew, had to wait almost 10 minutes to checkin, as the staff member was not available to check me in. Rooms are basic, and very dated, Haven't stayed at a Travelodge in years, thought i did this time.

Not as good as previous experience
Have stayed here a couple of times before and found it to be a pleasant hotel but unfortunately this time I felt let down. The car park was not very welcoming with broken glass from broken into cars in a cpl of the bays and lots of materials left like fly tipping. The lift was out of order and yet we were put on the 2nd floor with the hotel being virtually empty as there were less than a dozen of cars in the car park. The room heating was on cosy warm when we entered the room which was good for the cold night. The bath was stained and the mixer taps very stiff to use and the bath slow draining. Breakfast bar was a bit of a let down and sparse looking for selections. Hot breakfast had to ordered and fried eggs were extra charge. Staff were very pleasant. Overall slightly let down compared to previous experience.
