My experience at this hotel, wasn’t too good and I will explain why.
When I have arrived at the hotel, there was a queue at the check in desk, that is totally understandable. What is not not understandable, is why it was taking extremely long for the 2 staff members to process the check in for each guest. We were about 10 persons in the queue, and it took about 45 min until I was served.
I have asked the receptionist what went wrong and he blamed the slow system. All right, I accepted the situation and went in my room for the 5 hours sleep.
In the morning I was in a rush of course, after such a short night. I left the key room, as I knew that I haven’t had any consumption or nothing on my room.
The receptionist stop me like I was about to run without paying, and she told me that I have to pay the city tax and some hotel fees that weren’t paid.
I said that if there are any taxes like these, I am meant to pay them at the check in. Not at the check out. She said that it was a mistake. And I said that it is not my fault that it was a mistake, and now I don’t want to pay the waiting time for my Uber that was waiting outside, because they made a mistake.
Of course I have paid in the end, but I didn’t like at all the approach of the receptionist, and the tone of her voice, like I was the sneaky one in this situation.
Other than this, room was ok, clean, and I can’t say more for the 5 hours spent there. 😃
