The hotel is dated and much in need of some remodeling. The carpet in the room didn’t smell but it looked like it should have. Everything just looks very worn. My biggest complaint and disgust comes from the bed. When I went to bed I turned out the lights and got into bed. I don’t know why I didn’t check the bed first but I was just tired. It was in the morning when I got up that I saw the dried blood on the sheets and it wasn’t mine. I spoke with the front desk and after getting a little heated the clerk finally apologized. Wow…..that made it all better. Sarcasm intended.
The restaurant is another story. The guy bussing the tables was also cleaning the concrete outside the side door with bleach, with the door open. Nothing like the smell of bleach to enhance your breakfast. The food was ok, but there was a steady, and I mean constant, parade of housekeeping, staff and maintenance people through the restaurant right behind our table. We kind of felt like we were in the way. I should also mention the big trash can against the wall, under the restaurant name, very close to the tables. My impression of this hotel is that the general manager must be completely inept to have things running this poorly. I will be spending my money at another hotel chain after this and recommend everyone think twice before staying here.
