Centrally located at CBD with easy access.
Rooms are large, quiet clean and tidy.
Good Variety of food served for breakfast and good variety of wines at lounge.
Only one comment is more training should be provided to reception as it takes more than 20 minutes for Check-in

Since the restaurants which located on Level 22 in Grand Hyatt Guangzhou are well-known in the city, thus we set 2 elevators – one for the access to the guest room, one for the access to the restaurants /Fitness Center - for keeping the safety for our in-house guests, and also to minimize disturbances. The overall impression was good. In general, the staff team is polite . One disappointment was that I was being told when check in that the price per person for breakfast was $130 if booked before having it but when I try to bring 1 more business partner guest to breakfast the last morning we stay there, the reception counter staff charged me $198 extra instead of $130 saying only for the first time that pre booking had to make 1 day earlier despite the fact that I told the restaurant staff about the extra booking before entering the restaurant. Another shortfalls were that the air conditioning in my room seemed not functioning well making us sweating all night and the TV volume was unbelievably low and
hardly audible even with a two inches distance. I do hope that these were single instances . Apart from that the overall standard and location of the hotel is good. I do hope that our next stay at your hotel when I bring my management team of around 6 more persons from 16/7 to 20/7 will not let me down again and proves your hotel to be responsive to constructive comments for future loyal customers

The location of the hotel was pretty good, but I would recommend staying at the room facing the park, our room faced the road in which you can hear car honk and construction noise. The layout of the room was stylish and reasonablem, but has some smoking odor even if we stayed at the nonsmoking floor.

No one assist to carry baggage , the bellboy only traffic control and lack of training, check in waited 10 minutes , room not ready even at 6pm , not water not hot enough , only around 36 degree C . Only advantage was good view and location.
