HORRBLE
There was no cable and couldn't watch movies, was put on hold for more than 30 minutes by front desk, tried to call front desk again and no one answered.

Park Terrace Suites was formerly the Embassy Suites and is now going through some remodeling. They still offered us 2 free drinks and snacks in leiu of the "coctail hour" Embassy Suites used to offer. The real continental breakfast was great: eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, cereal, hot oatmeal, pastries, coffee, tea, hot chocolate...the works! Huge pool great for the family.

the hotel overall was disgusting. there was no customer service from any of the staff members.

Not an Embassy breakfast as they say.
This hotel is not an Embassy Suites. They had changed recently but still advertise as of they have to save quality. We picked this hotel after thry said try had a ready to make breakfast just as the Embassy's have. To our surprise, we were to serve ourselves a buffet style breakfast. We could have saved our money and stayed at a Hampton for what we got. They also would not allow my husband to check us in even though he carried my phone inside to show them m confirmation. After a long summer day in phx heat, I was not pleased to have to get out and handle it.

Used to be favorite hotel; not anymore
This hotel has been a favorite for years but now it is extremely run down and dirty. It is understaffed and the rooms have a horrible odor. The front desk had a sign that said 2 of the buildings would be without hot water for about a week during the day. We were booked for 5 nights but checked out after 1. I won't be staying here ever again.

Hotel of shame
The room pictured on the website was quite different than the room we stayed in. The configuration of our room was very strange...as though its original purpose may have been designed for maid or maintenance use, and then quickly transformed into a guest room. The bathroom floor was dirty with visible pieces of dirt and unknown matter strewn about. The bedroom carpet was stained and unkept. Screw size holes were in the wall above the bathroom mirror. Mismatched sofa and chair in the livingroom were so disgustingly filthy and frayed we refused to sit on them. We had asked for a king-size bed and got two queens instead. We also asked for a room away from the freeway...our room faced the freeway. We checked in at night and had a very difficult time finding our room because of the lack of proper outdoor lighting. USED soap and shampoo in the bathroom.

Ok hotel
Lobby, restaurant, and pool area are nice. Hotel room is a good size, however, not very clean, looks old, and dirty. We always stay at Embassy's because they are so nice, yet this one is old and not up to Embassy standards in my opinion.

Room disappointment
Never saw a room laid out like this. Long and narrow with countertop from wall to wall at far end and an unusual empty crevice along another wall. Furniture crammed into the other end of room. The bathroom had no vanity, just a very small sink. Toilet tank top had a layer of dirt as well as the hair dryer.

Not what I expected from an embassy suite hotel!!!!

Dated but friendly and comfortable
The hotel is undergoing reservations but the size of the suite, it's cleanliness and attentive staff made the stay very enjoyable

Nice hotel.
Overall the hotel was nice and staff friendly. But there were little hairs on floor in bathroom. Also, the blind was one inch from both sides of the window--someone could look in the room. The door didn't fit very well and was hard to open and close.

Staff was amazing
Night staff was incredible. She brought in her homemade chili for a night time treat for the guests! Her personality and customer service was top notch!!!

Overpriced
When we arrived the toilet was stopped up. I called the Front Desk and they sent someone to fix the toilet. They brought a plunger and worked on the toilet for a time and left. It was still running slow and overflowed in the night. The next morning a man came with a snake and fixed it. Housekeeping never mopped the floor from the overflow from the toilet. We were there 3 days and I kept calling for a mop. Housekeeping never replaced the towels in the room that were used and put on the floor to replace. They simply left the towel rack empty. Also the phone in the room was broken and it was stuck in the ring cycle somehow. So it periodically rang about every 20 minutes. I called maintenance and they finally put in a new phone on the second day we were there. But the ringing kept us up 2 nights. We were in an ADA compliant room. The refer door swung open the opposite of the sink and anyone in a wheelchair (ie. my husband) couldn't reach into the refer because the door blocked the wheelchair. The hotel ice makers in the hallway were broken?? or something. I was never able to get ice from the machines and when I asked maintenance they said that they were empty (the entire 3 days, all day). I bought ice from the 7-11 across the street.

Room was outdated and smelled like old cigarette smoke. It was the type of room that makes you want to wear shoes at all times. Hot tub was cold, which was very disappointing after a long day of travel. During breakfast, an inebriated hotel guest harassed me. Not the hotel's fault, but definitely not an ideal experience. Staff was friendly & lobby nice. Unfortunately, the rest of the hotel does not match the initial impression.

Comfortable and roomy
Our stay was enjoyable. Happy hour and hot breakfast was a huge plus. Room was clean and large enough for all 6 of us. Good location. Nice friendly staff.

Hotel a disappointment
The hotel lobby and grounds are nice. But the rooms are smaller than a typical Embassy Suites! The hot tub/spa near the pool was just warn, not hot. The pool was cold, so every kid in the hotel was in the hot tub!! What a disappointment for the adults!! The breakfast was good, and the lines were well managed. Overall, I would not return to this hotel.

Good location
The check in process was okay. The room was dirt, mold in the shower, rooms needed vacuuming, sofa mattress awful. Breakfast buffet was really good. Pool was nice but cold. For our 3 night stay we had to have our room key card reprogrammed 4 times.

Good location and good price
Coming to Phoenix with my family and booking the room was easy. While I wasn't expecting the experience to be out of this world, I was expecting much more. The top dresser drawer wasn't working properly and jammed several times even when empty. The bathrooms were large and provided plenty of space for everyone's things but the shower had incredibly bad pressure and the toilet...well not great. Overall the stay was average. I'd stay there again if I had a good price and knew these issues were resolved. The room worked for a family of four but bigger beds would've been nice.

For a 3 star felt like it was much less.
The room condition, the bed, the placement of beds near window made it impossible to have the room darker. In a desert city, this hotel had no water in the room.

Shouldn't have to be in a partially renovated room
Cons: We were in a partially renovated room which still had drywall dust everywhere(on the floor, walls, furniture, counters, cupboards....everywhere) after the second day I ended up taking time to clean the room myself as I couldn't wait any longer, no cupboard doors, we had no dishes, the shower drain didn't which resulted in flooding the bathroom everyday regardless how many towels we put on the floor as a barrier (flooding a couple days past the bathroom door with a quick shower). Some days our room wasn't cleaned until well after 6:00pm. And matter how many times we asked for someone to come look at our room nothing was ever done. We were unable to move because they were apparently full?? The price we paid for our room was WAY TOO MUCH considering it wasn't a completed room. They should never put someone in a room that isn't done. We aren't complainers but I was pretty put off. Pros: the breakfast was phenomenal & the pool was beautiful. The front desk staff were very polite.

Misrepresentation
Suite was unacceptable, nothing like advertsed. Sparsely furnished, cold and unattractive, drapes and bed linens wrinkled. We felt room had been empty and thrown together just prior to our arrival. Looked inside another suite and saw it was much better than ours. Too busy & tired to change suites but should of. Very disappointed.

Hideous! Don't stay here!
What a dump! Embassy Suites should burn it to the ground and preserve their good name. Old broken furniture. Cheap drapes that didn't cover the windows. No shower curtain. No closet rod. No desk/workspace or chair. Worn out, stained 1980's era sofa. Busted lampshades. The staff doesn't care whether you have a decent room or not. We couldn't get out of there fast enough!!

Pros: Good location, nicely designed facility. Loved the room opening onto the courtyard and the ability to walk to the lobby and centralized amenities. Cons: Bathroom could be cleaner and they need to clean and re-grout in the tub/shower area. Thank you for your candid comments regarding your recent stay. The best accommodation that fits the Budget.
I enjoyed my leisurely comfy stay in the suite and walk in the evening cool weather. I especially enjoy the comfort of spacious suite this accommodation of Embassy Suites and love all the indoor quiet hour to get enough rest for the next day of baseball game in the neighborhood.

Concert getaway
This is a great place! Clean remodeled room, fantastic cook to order breakfast, friendly staff and good location. Cons: construction for remodel and pool/jacuzzi not in service despite calling to verify it was heated and open. Lastly, pretzels on floor in the elevator by bldg.6 were simple moved to the walk path during mopping of elevator.

The hotel was dirty everywhere very disappointing remodeling nobody told us about that elevator selfie ice machines filthy very very disappointing would not recommend to anybody if I hotel is under renovation it should be a law that they tell you before you rent a room

Hotel is getting a face lift which is needed.
The hotel is being up-dated and will be a nice place to return. AC in the room was noisy and made the room cold and then hot.. could not keep the room at one temp. Love the pool and hot tub. Really enjoyed the breakfast and happy hour.

Close to Cardinal game.
There were zero loungers for the pool area! How can that be in Phoenix? Plus alot of noise with the remodeling being done on half the hotel. Can understand that but not the absence of pool loungers!

The hotel lobby was gorgeous and the staff was great but there was a lot of construction being done to the hotel. The first room we got had a issues with the front door being able to close securely. We were given a second room which had the electrical messed up. When the kitchen light was turned on, the bedroom closet light also turned on and the bathroom lights were also connected to the other kitchen lights. The coffee pot did not work either even though it was plugged in. The room was very nice though and clean. I believe once all the construction and updates are finished it will be a very nice hotel.

Leider hatte unser Zimmer Schimmelgeruch, wir waren aber nur auf Durchreise. Nach Abschluss der offensichtlich größeren Umbau- und/oder Renovierungsarbeiten sollte dies aber behoben sein. Lärmbelästigung durch diese Arbeiten gab es aber nicht.

Hotel in disrepair.
The hotel is going through a renovation- many years too late. The stairs are falling apart. The walkways are not well lit at night. The rooms are dated. The towels were something you'd expect at a Motel 6. Very disappointing for an Embassy Suites Hotel.

Family trip
Unfortunately we checked into a room with a clogged toilet. I called housekeeping and front desk 5X's within 3hrs and no one ever showed up. I visited the front desk and explained the situation after third hour and he apologized and said they were finishing a direct TV issue and would come to our room next. Nonetheless they never showed. I personally bought a plunger and fixed the toilet. Never received a courtesy call or knock on door. I NEVER complain but this was ridiculous.

Old and dirty
Booked the suite to enjoy some time with my kids & their friends by the pool for my daughters birthday. VERY disappointed with the pool area. NO covered tables/umbrellas for shade, garbage (cups, band aids, & food wrappers) all over the pool deck, lounge chairs at the pool were torn and dry rotted, Palm trees were over grown and their seeds/pods were all over the deck (very painful to step on with bare feet) and in the pool (as were bird feathers & more band aids). We booked the hotel with the idea of spending most of our time at the pool (which looked lovely in the photos) but even the girls (who are only 12) were disappointed. There was a cabana area where you got the pool towels that had warning signs on one side that you had to stay 2 feet away because it was being repaired, however you had to walk UNDER that area to get to the restrooms. Area where the pool towels were was dusty & filled with spider webs. We returned to the pool that evening to let the girls swim again & at 9:00 security told them they had to leave because it was "adult only" time, which we were never made aware of. Poor pool lighting also at night, my daughter almost fell into the baby pool because it was so dark. Our Room smelled musty & a/c was not adequate for a suite. Our tv in the living area had waves/static running through it and EVERY TIME we came back to the room it took 4-5 tries to get our card reader key to unlock the door. Over all we were very unhappy.

Nice grounds but the rooms need to be updated
The hotel grounds are nice but the rooms are in need of serious renovation to be up to Embassy Suite stds. The cook staff could also be a bit more friendly. All in all and based on the price I would say our 2 night stay was OK but would not want to stay longer.

Nice Place
My friend and I just stayed one night. We booked this hotel for the pool. It's not bad at all. Room was clean. Carpet was old and looks like it should be replaced but overall it was fine. Only thing that was an inconvenience was there where hardly any lounge chairs at the pool. I counted only nine. There was a bunch by a gate on the side but they where all broken or torn. Hopefully they will replace those soon. They have a pool bar but it wasn't open. It's only open seasonally but you would think for the 4th of July weekend it would be and there was a lot of people at the pool. Breakfast in the morning is great. There are long lines and not many places to sit since its like everyone went at the same time but there are tables outside you could sit at. They serve omlets, bacon, sausage, potatoes, scramble eggs, fruit, oatmeal and pastries. for the price it was great and I would stay there again.
