Dear Guest, I stay in the hotel for now, as my house is under remodel... I agree with you that at times it can be quite noisy with rooster, dog, and boisterous guests. I have found that if I keep my fan in the room running, that it acts as a white noise and lessens the effects of external noise. I am looking into the purchase of some white noise machines, to be available to guests, as additional protection. Saturday nights are definitely the worst, there are many nights without much noise at all. I will also speak with the receptionist. I encourage them to advise guests that are too noisy to move into their rooms and close windows and doors, and lower their overall volume. I would like to speed up the hot water, as it would be better for the guests, and water is quite scarce here, so it would be environmentally better as well, not having to waste all that water waiting for the hot. Dear Guest, Thank you for your comments. We were caught by surprise with the roadwork. One day the city came in with no notice and ripped up the street. We don't know when the work will be completed. We have not had any problems with walking around the neighborhood, except for watch your step with some of the debris from the construction. Access to our off-street parking is still available. Our receptionists do not speak a lot of english, but they surely can be warm and friendly with guests. We will work on improving customer service.
