Hi Raiana,Thank you for your review, we are sorry to hear your concerns.We would like to reassure you our housekeeping team do thoroughly clean the hotel. Please note hotel rooms are cleaned every three days, however, because your stay was for 3 days it was cleaned on the check-out day. We hope you appreciate this has been the policy since the Covid pandemic, and because it limits contact between staff and guests it has successfully reduced the risks of infection/illness.You state you checked in late, we are sorry to hear this, we can see you arrived just after the 2pm check-in time and you checked into your room shortly after at 2.09pm. Unfortunately you arrived at a very busy weekend for the hotel and we was not able to do check-ins before the 2pm check in time.With regard to the hotel, we have taken note of yoiur comments about needing updating and we can confirm changes are.Please also note there is a no party policy in the hotel and had we known the neighbouring room was a nuissance we would have dealt with them accordingly.RegardsPresident Hotel

Hi Philippa,Thank you for your review, we are sorry to hear your concerns.We are sorry for the wait to check in, you stayed during a very busy time in the high season and we prioritise rooms on guests ETA, unfortunately we did not receive an ETA (estimated time of arrival) from you as requested via expedia messages and subsequently this was why your room was not ready when you arrived.With regard to the standard arrival and check-out messages, you have confirmed you did receive them, thank you. These are standard in the industry and provide relevant information. We are sorry if they were unwelcoming, however the mentioned charges are standard and the message were meant to be informative.We would like to reassure you we have taken note with regard to the decor and change is afoot.In regard to the luggage store room, we have looked into this and can confirm the staff did not give the key to just anyone. Hi Rhonda,Thank you for your review, we are sorry for your concerns.It appears you entered the hotel via the steps at the rear entrance. We would like to reassure you the front entrance is level with the street and has no steps. Also had we known you was entering from the rear with lots of luggage we would have advised tom press the intercom and let us know, we would then let you via remote access entrance to the car park and you could have used the elevator to come to reception.With regard to accessing the restaurant, we would like to reassure you guests with mobility issues would be offered an alternative.We are sorry you could not take the mugs/plates from the restaurant, this is because all rooms are equipped with a kitchenette or full kitchen which comes with cutlery/plates/mugs etc.RegardsPresident Hotel
