The hotel is located near the train station, easy access to Wan Chai area with plenty of bars and restaurants. The hotel check in very easy, was so impressed with the room, shame only stayed for one night. Will look to stay again.

Great location for attending fairs at the convention center. Don't let YMCA name fool you. It's a class 3 hotel but very good.

The view was amazing, the staff was professional and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and if I ever go back to Hong Kong, I will stay at the same hotel again!

The room is so small that there is no place to put the luggages. No desk, inconvenient charging outlets. The bathroom is so small that there is no place to put toiletries. The closet has no place to lang clothes for a week for a couple. The taxi driver has a problem finding this place. The name is harbor View instead of YMCA. I forfeited my paid room for 1week and moved to another Hotel.

booked Optimum Floor Premier Plus Room for a higher fee. turns out room is just as small as all the others and terrible view of neighbor buildings , no view of harbor at all. choice of queen , double or twins but by time of checking in, only twins available for single guest. asked if can move to lower floor but with harbor view or queen or double bed and they say cannot , all booked. Asked if we can have refund for the second day and they flatly refused. Room smelled smokey even though they say they will fine you $$$$ if someone had smoked. Windows were dirty and mud spotted from the outside.

It was pretty good- cleaning and restauraunt staff were very good- front desk left much to be desired- concierge knew very little to nothing about anything in the area! We had to discouver everything on our own! Our contract said free breakfast and free mini bar- well mini bar was only stocked say one- two cokes and two beer! They said it only meant first day! So i left quite upset- they cost all of their staff quite a lotbin tips! And im a very heavy tipper- so the owners need to know that they sold my bussiness over 4 cokes and 4 cans of beer- in the end they paid dearly!

Stayed there for 3 nights over the New year. Had a lovely time and the receptionist was very nice to put us in a harbour view room. We had a perfect view of the fireworks!!

Despite the name of the hotel, there was no HK Harbour view - just the moldy wall of the next door building. We were in the 8th floor and the room furniture and carpet were worn down. It seems the rooms are being refurbished, as our friends had an upper level room that looked newly renovated, with modern furniture and bathroom installations. The location is great, with easy transportation by MTR, bus and ferry. Shopping and restaurant options are plenty. The promenade by Hong Kong bay all the way to Admiralty makes for a marvelous stroll - day or night. The promenade is a 5 min walk from the hotel.

Conveniently located next to the Hong Kong Arts Centre and the Academy of Performing Arts, the Harborview Hotel is close to the heart of Wan Chai, making it an ideal place for almost any business. The new MTR station, Exhibition Centre, which is also walkable from the hotel, make its access to the Kowloon side even easier. The hotel also boasts a nice breakfast buffet - with both Asian and Western food options.
