They don’t let you control the AC. You have to contact them every evening to turn on the air. It is noisy in am with others having breakfast and talking loud. The bed is extremely uncomfortable. They say twin beds but they are together and not comfortable.

Au cœur de Florence, ce logement permet de tout visiter à pied. L'accueil est chaleureux et la chambre très agréable. Une cuisine collective est disponible et le petit déjeuner compris est à disposition dans la chambre. Frigo avec bar. Seuls petits bémols, la chambre est prévue pour 5 personnes avec un lit double, un lit simple et un lit de 120 qui est trop petit pour deux enfants de 10 et 13 ans. La chambre donnant sur la place, il y a du bruit tard le soir et tôt le matin mais cela peut aussi avoir son charme.

Location is excellent but facilities are average
The hotel is located near Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio with many restaurants around. The entry to the hotel is difficult because one has to climb a steep staircase of 30 steps before getting to the elevator. Not easy with heavy bags. Room is clean and services are basic. Breakfast items are kept in the room to be consumed anytime - limited choice

ok stay if a night or two.
The windows had to be open b/c no air conditioning but our room backed up to the back of a couple of restaurants so early am bottles were being slammed around recycle bins, trash being taken out and loud projects being worked on. We also left with bug bites from head to toe- still not sure if they are bedbugs or not. The staff was very nice and the room spacious. It was also very difficult to find and could have used more information to locate. It's located in the heart of food and shopping.

Great location, directions were very clear but they charged an extra 20 euros upon leaving which was not indicated at Hotels.com. During these times - Covid- I understand that places require extra cleaning and Italian businesses are struggling so I paid. Owner indicated that it is written in Expedia about the service fee but I didn't use Expedia I used hotels.com

This is a very old building right next to the Uffizi Gallery and it’s front door opens right into a huge piazza. It’s a fantastic location and the room was quiet. You feel like an invited guest in a friend’s home. Lovely antique furnishings but clean modern bathroom and comfortable beds. Our room, the green room, was very spacious. We enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it. FYI there is a large staircase you must climb to get to the elevator.

Location, location, location was perfect. The staff is extremely knowledgable and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Shower was nice and powerful. There are a few flights of stairs to the rooms, be warned. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. It would have been nice to have either fresh bread, a few meats, or a few cheese, or fruit. The only fruit offered were hard, sour kiwi fruit.

Perfect and Ideal Location. Room was Majestic!
I was able to walk everywhere, even as you get out of the door, you’re already staring at certain art masterpieces. It is a very touristy spot so be prepared for the hustle and bustle outside. But inside is nice and quiet, like staying at someone’s private home. A historic one at least. The furnitures look like they belong in a museum. Highly suggest it here!so much to do around this neighborhood too, some really good gelato and sandwich places. So much to discover.

GREAT LOCATION
The room was a good size and very clean. Check in was easy, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and they were very accommodating with luggage even after we had checked out. The only issues were that we faced a small courtyard that was VERY loud (everything echoed through it) and the beds were pretty hard. However, being right in the middle of Florence made up for that.

The location is fantastic! Right in the middle of everything that is wonderful about Florence. Staying for five days in a ninth-century tower was magical. The hosts (owner Pamela and manager Simona) made us feel right at home, like we were friends visiting from afar. The common room with large table and kitchen was a great place to unwind after a long day. We were surprised the breakfast included in our rate was pre-packaged cereal, cookies, croissants and boxed juice and milk left in our room on a trolley, but this was fine, as we preferred to get fresh cappuccino and croissants at the local cafe and took the breakfast as snacks for our travels throughout the day. This place is a true gem.

Это не отель, а скорее гостевой дом. Решение поселиться здесь было принято спонтанно. Было уже обеденное время и я, подъезжая к Флоренции на поезде, просматривал варианты размещения в городе. Почти сразу наткнулся на этот гестхаус и решил выбрать его. Побудительными мотивами было расположение, высокий рейтинг и наличие завтрака. Добраться от вокзала было очень просто- обойти слева собор Санта Мария Новелла, пройти прямо по улице минут 5 до собора Санта Мария дель Фьори, затем повернуть направо и пройти минут 5-7 до площади Сеньории. На площади немного растерялся, т.к. броской вывески нет. Ориентир-статуя Давида и знаменитая Лоджия. Примыкающий к ним дом с подъездом в центре-то, чтщ мы ищем. Нужно подняться по довольно крутой лестнице до лифта и потом еще пару этажей. Следует иметь в виду, что персонал находится здесь только до часа дня, потом вы сможете попасть внутрь открыв кодовый замок на двери. В моем случае, код мне не успели еще выслать-пришлось звонить. Мой номер- стандартной категории был довольно просторным, со всей необходимой мебелью. Вообще по обстановке он напоминал больше люкс. Мебель старая, но в отличном состоянии. Правда, местами на картинах и мебели был виден толстый слой пыли. В ванной были шампунь, гель для душа и мыло. Завтрак находился уже в номере- круассаны, кукурузные хлопья, печенье, шоколадная паста и спред, кофе в капсулах и чай в пакетиках. В зоне общего доступа-просторном зале, можно воспользоваться холодильником, кофеваркой, микроволновой печью.

It has pretty good location, close to main locations of interest in Florence. But notice that what you book in expedia as "city view" is actually a view to the roofs of other properties. Also, the pictures of the room are not necessarily the ones of the room that will be assigned to you. Breakfast is included, but is not a hot breakfast but some juices and cookies left at your room every day.

Great location with trade-offs
Pros: Service was pleasant, and the location is fabulous, steps from the Uffizi Gallery. Large room. Cons: Stairs to get to elevator on 2nd floor. Dusty room. Breakfast is sub-par, better to buy it elsewhere. Don't sleep with the windows open because the Florentine Mosquitoes will eat you alive.

Fantastic location but poor breakfast i ever had. Nice employees but still dont know why i had to pay extra charges for linens. First day they were about to coran our room but we asked no need to clean and we never asked anything but when we checked out they asked something fee. It was not city taxes anyway everything was good but if you have many your stuffs it will be hell cause you have to left yourself until you reach to lift. Good luck

Great value stylish accommodation.
Very helpful hostess. Accommodation was very modern and spotless with good facilities. 10-15 minute walk into center of town via a not so pleasant area, although we didn't have any problems. Pizzeria not too far away on the other side of the road was excellent.

Great location!
This is a perfect location! We had trouble finding it because the sign is so small and it’s on the wall of the building behind the outdoor seating section between two restaurants. We tried to get direction help from the desk associate but she wasn’t able to help us much. It would help if the sign for the B&B was bigger. We were running around trying to find it before 1pm, check-in time because we were afraid it would be too difficult to get in without the desk person there. Additionally, the shower was small and it was tricky to squeeze in and out of the accordion shower door. Aside from that, the room had plenty of snacks/breakfast croissants and cookies for two people. There were some drinks in the fridge. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. The room was nice and clean.

I'd stay here again.
This was a great stay for a few days. The room was very spacious and so a great spot to retreat to after a day of sightseeing. It's location is great, it is right above Piazza Signorina and near many great sites, and yet it is situated not on the plaza side of the building and so it is not loud at all. The wifi was decent, not great, but it did reach into the rooms. The use of a main computer printer in the communal breakfast area was great as we needed to print off tickets for some tours.

We stayed in the Blue Room. It was much bigger than I expected. The bathroom was big even by American standards, though the tub/ shower were standard. Staff was vert friendly. Location is excellent, right in the middle of everything I wanted to see.
