I was a little nervous about staying here because other reviews were so mixed but, I was glad we did! The staff was really nice, everything was clean and breakfast was pretty good. Pool and hot tub were both good! We would stay here again.

Liked the staff, parking, open windows & breakfast. A/C didn't seem to work well. Needs landscaping and larger trash cans in rooms.

The hotel was run down. Carpet dirty & needs vacuum throughout. Room smelled like smoke & musty & the floors were dirty. Walls were thin & heard noise throughout the night

The employees were very nice. The only complaint that I had is the complimentary breakfeast. The skim milk was sour, and the biscuits were hard. Overall the hotel was ok.

Room was fine. Clean and well maintained. Particularly for the price. Hallways and Elevator could’ve been cleaner. Conveniently located. Denny’s next door and near Green River Road.

Overall good for the price
The rooms were nice and clean. Check in was easy. Only complaint was there was only 2 drink vending machines in the whole building and one was out of order. After getting 3 drinks our 4th one got stuck. Tried and again and it also got stuck. The front desk refunded my $4 but that didn't solve the issue that some of us didn't have anything to drink until the next morning when breakfast was available. Also the hot tub was not very hot and the jets were all over the place splashing water out of the tub more than it was keeping it in. The large buffet breakfast was nice and everything hot and fresh.

Had a great stay!
Front desk staff were amazing, pet friendly, very nice spacious room. Great pool and hot tub, nice breakfast. Some places were a little rough around the edges but it is under renovation so is to be expected. Very nice stay for the price!

Mold, Constant Construction, and Apathy
History shows that this hotel location was hit by an airplane back in the 1990's. Since that day, there have been what seems to be only patch-up jobs in order to make amends all the while remaining open. As a result, the carpet remains stained. Some rooms reek of stale cigarettes. While others had no electricity at all. After a room change, a new room contained mold in the bathtub as well as in the bathroom sink. Over all, this entire hotel needs to be shut down for a full renovation, instead of limping along with bandaids and growing health issues.

Fine for a one night stay
I think it is mid-renovation so some features are in great shape and modern while others seem old and run-down. The hot breakfast was rough. I'd go for cereal next time. The front desk service was friendly and helpful. I felt safe and the location was central. Lots of parking.

The lobby was under construction and blocked off and it was unclear where to go check in. Had to go in center door and wind my way to front desk. The elevator was dirty. My room was ok but there was a half eaten donut in the drawer of the nightstand, not kidding! Some light bulbs were out and the thermostat was set to Celsius.

Very clean and spacious room. Great location, next to Denny restaurant and 7 mins drive to University of Evansville. The price per night was so reasonable. Decent indoor hot tub and swim pool. It was our first time visiting Evansville.

The hotel was OK, but had some problems. First room had a broken TV remote, the heat didn't work and there were stains on the furniture. Second room, broken mirror in closet. Elevator very dirty.

Remodeling for the better
Have stayed before and probably will again. However, there was remodeling in the process on this trip. It wasn’t that big of inconvenience.

Stay somewhere else
Pros: Breakfast was great. Breakfast host was amazing and friendly. The pool was nice and clean. Cons: This hotel was extremely unkept everywhere. The room was dirty. Soap scum on the bathtub that had clearly not been cleaned properly in a long time. The couch was sunken, as well as the beds. Comforter had cigarette burns in it from previous people. I realize they were undergoing construction, but for the price we paid I felt robbed. I’ve stayed at nicer places in West Africa. Would not stay here again.
